For those who weren't there and are confused: a couple of years ago he decided to write a song each week, but one such week he was a day from his weekly deadline and his only idea was Mr. Fancypants. To help him perform the song live, since it's so short, he bought that thing (a Zendrum, Google it) to stretch it out. Hilarity ensued ;)
