The only difference is that I don't speak them with an accent because I put a lot of work into learning the language to show I respect the language. If I mess up on a word I don't get mad at the person for not understanding. I find out the correct pronunciation and fix it. Most people assume I'm Mexican because I speak Spanish so well. I've heard plenty of racist things said in Spanish.

Legal immigrants are processed at the embassy in their own country and arrive here with paperwork that allows them to cross the border with no problem. A Guatemalan has a better chance getting into a "redneck" (pejorative showing your racist views) bar in Mississippi and getting into the US than they do crossing the border of Mexico where their military patrols for Guatemalans and then puts them into camps.
