thats what i was thinking...what would HE be doing at chinese warm up though...like, i saw canada written on a coaches back...so does that make it like international warm up...meh
does anyone know which diver is Xiong Ni? and by reading your comments some of you sound very american and talk about the whole dive coming down to the entry. Sure the entry is important especially these days. ESPECIALLY in the states because thats all the judges care about. Ive seen some really ugly diving and nice rips and huge scoring. Diving is a copmbination of everything from the take off to finness in the air and the entry. Not just about who makes the least splash.
wow i dont think i saw any splash on any of those entries, just rips except for some reverse double, wow, CHINA ROCKS! you know they practce 12 hours a day and spend the first 2 and a half hours stretching! then the next 2 and a half hours doing dryland, then line ups and approaches.... they spend so much more time that American divers do.
I agree that their entries are the most impressive part of their dives, and without the massive rips they wouldn't be as great, but the entry is one of the most important part of the dive. If you have a great entry you have a pretty darn good dive. It's sort-of like saying that Lance Armstrong wouldn't be as great if he didn't have freakish lung capacity and amazing leg strength. Well, he does and the Chinese divers just have great entries, making their dives very good.
all they do all day long, is perfect their entries! If chinese divers didn't have the entries that they do... they wouldn't be such a great diving nation.
WHO TEACHES THESE PEOPLE TO RIP?!
