I have to be honest: This Thumbelina - along with the one from "Faerie Tale Theatre" - are the best interpretations I've seen! Other versions of the character are either whiny or passive or prissy. But Jennifer Love Hewitt and Carrie Fisher make great Thumbelinas! They're strong, brave, smart, independent, and great role models for young girls.

I started to cry when the old guy was talking about his journey he didn't say it, but he ment death. It doesn't help I work at an old folks home, and a resident I liked just took that Journey. Not all but some of them hit me just right and I come home and cry my eyes out, its hard working there not to get attached.
