Volgens mij zegt jouw reactie vooral veel over jezelf..

  • I wouldnt call $cientology homophobic....more like, repressed. Miscavige is so obviously, well....HELLOOOO FRISCO! TC too, thats no secret...(they are besties arent they?...hmmm) LRH, oddly (or not oddly) enough, was also rumored to have many young boys around him and in his personal quarters "servicing" him. There are accounts of this from MANY different sources, ones who are not connected to each other. The problem is that they need fresh meat 4 the cult 2 survive, so they need births. lol.

  • Good work brother, glad to hear you got out of the dangerous cult. I think now we're seeing more and more people waking up within the cult and realizing how fucking psycho it is. I've noticed that there are a lot of the younger generation who are waking up and leaving Scientology.

P.S. Do you mind if I ask where you're from, you have a unique accent?

  • @jtkalehua Thanks! Internet really makes the difference, I think. Twenty years ago, all this crucial information was hard to find. LRH would never have guessed that information would run so out of control of the "church". Luckily, it does, and it sets people free every day! My accent would be Dutch. What does it sound like to you?

  • @BurtBenz That's so true. As I have on my page, I walked into a Church of Scientology and took their free personality test, and I was surprised at how accurate it was. I'm a Life Coach so I have a huge interest in new age and self-help type stuff, so I found the whole thing interesting, luckily after a short period time I woke up and left the "Church." And I thought your accent sounded kinda eastern european ;)

  • seriously... you were worried about who you were... Scientology identified you in their 'free personality test' and you were a prime target.. that's what the test is designed to uncover.. and its why they do not like people like me!

Despite the fact that a 'personality' test cannot be 'failed' ... did you ever expect they would tell you tat you DID NOT have a personality?

Feeding their coffers is what they wanted... how much money did they get from you?

  • Actually, just to add a little bit of juice to this. Taosim IS a philosophy... At least in China. It's one that is similar to Alchemy back in the day. Focusing on the self and the effects of the world/food/meditation/martial exercises etc. It was also free.

Philosophy is "the rational investigation of the truths and principles of being, knowledge, or conduct." This often leads it into religion as well. Relevance though: This doesn't give a distinction between cult and religion.

  • Thank God, or Xenu :) you didn't continue. You saved yourself a lot of time, a few headaches & much heartache. $cientology IS, INDEED, homophobic and a cult. Read ex-scientologist Michael Pattinson's story; a very gay OT VIII who was promised his homosexuality would be "cured" just as they did with John Travolta.

You also saved TONS of money & possibly some abuse. And give thanks to the spahetti monster that you are gay for $cientology is a fraudulent & criminal organization.

    A 25 yr ex-member

  • Once the world is Clear — a nation, a state, a city or a village — the Scientology-organization in the area becomes its government! And once this has taken place the only policy accepted as valid is Scientology policy.

  • this video is too funny! All the things the guy says are the same for Christianity, Islam, Judaism, but let's make some examples:

1° They are homophobic as well, or this guy thinks Islam accept gays?

2° Jesus, Allah or whatever is the solution to all problems and sins!

3° Speaking of jargon, since Christianity has 1700 years of Jargon, most of Christians don't know what is the immaculate conception, and think is something related to the birth of Jesus! Or what is the transubstantiation!

  • "This guy" thinks you're overgeneralizing a bit here..

  • most if not all religious people are Stupid.

  • well Daud2008 - im glad you agree that scientology is homophoebic

  • immaculate conception is related to the birth of jesus

  • No, as you can see, like most Christians, you don't even know what the immaculate conception is.

  • Still generalizing, are you?

  • about what? The fact that the guy doesn't even know what immaculate conception is, and instead of showing his ignorance about a religion, couldn't even type it in explorer to look for the meaning?

  • You're assuming he doesn't know, but how can you be sure about that? The immaculate conception is related to the birth of Jesus, since Mary was chosen for that, so God made her without sin. Another thing you have to realize is that this notion is mostly a Roman Catholic one. In fact, most Christian faiths reject it.

  • The immaculate conception is related ONLY to Mary not to Jesus, it has nothing to do with with Jesus' birth. And that is not a "notion" is a dogma of the Catholic Church. Dogmas have been developed by councils through the centuries, By the way when you say: "this notion is mostly a Roman catholic..." like to dismiss the guys who invented Jesus fable, well maybe wouldn't be bad to inform you on the numbers: which are about 1 billion, surely not a minority, but please demonstrate most reject it.

  • Ever heard of the Reformation? Ever considered most Christians are not Roman Catholics nowadays? You should google it, the figures are there. .

  • The reformation was made because the Church in Rome was selling paradise, not because they had "creed" differences, but please prove me wrong. And then since it seems you are not able to come out with data, but just to keep up a useless polemic, yeah I will goggle for you, hoping you learn to admit when you are wrong, since the majority are evidently Roman Catholics:

    Roman: 968million

    Protestants: 395

    Orthodox: 217

    Anglican: 70

    Other: 275

Yes, the majority are roman catholics

  • Sorry, I miscalculated! You're right about that. If your figures are correct, then RC is indeed the majority, but only by 0.3%, a very close call. Still, you're generalizing. The immaculate conception is part of Catholic mariology. This doesn't make non-Catholic Christians automatically ignorant. Even if Catholics don't know precisely what it is, what does it prove?

  • To take it a step further: what does it say in relation to Scientology? In my experience, being an ex-Catholic and and ex-Scientologist, Scientology is not a religion at all in the first place, but a cult. Scientologists don't necessarily believe in a God. L. Ron Hubbard called it a religion to get tax benifits. Also, the jargon is nothing like that of world religions. I didn't go in there to find a new religion, - on the contrary! - as I already was an atheist at the time.

  • Christianity is a murderous cult which also enjoy tax benefits, but let me know if your definition of religion is only for those which believe in a god, because evidently buddhism, taoism and other wouldn't be a religion then. Christianity has even more jargon than scientology, since they have 1700 years of fake apologetic books to support their invented fictional character. Islam like Christianity is homophobic they kill homosexuals, bomb abortion clinics and so on.

  • Buddhism and taoism are philosophies, more so than theologies. In buddhism, homosexuality is perfectly okay, for example. You can see it either way. You choose to call the whole of a world religion "a murderous cult" and "homophobic". That strikes me as simplistic and biased. Consider all the branches. No Christian is the same, and many don't even agree with each other. The point with Scientology is that it lacks a liberal branch. It's 100% orthodox, allowing only 1 interpretation.

  • Look maybe here the biased one is you, since you just write without knowledge. Buddhism and Taoism, like Shintoim are RELIGIONS, not philosophies, since they were not written by Greek philosophers. You make confusion with Confucianism, which can be seen as a political philosophy. Yeah, Christians don't agree with each other, but one thing is for sure, in order to be a Christian you must believe in the Bible, and the Bible is a murderous, homophobic, racist book, sorry if you never read it!

  • Religion and philosophy are not mutually exclusive. The Bible can be read and studied in many ways. As a fairy tale, a historic document, a work of universal spirituality, as a mystical guide or as literature. Then there are so many levels of interpretation. You're talking about people who take it literally, who are extremists. Yes, I agree, you might call that a cult. But most people just don't believe like that, fortunately.

  • No, philosophy is about knowledge is not about mysticism, religion or other stuff. You can read probably also a fable in different ways, but it doesn't become a philosophy. And the escatological message of a book makes it a religion, if you notice you don't read the Iliad as a spiritual or religious book. The bible is not 1 book, but a collection of books, with different authors living in different periods, for this reason can be read in different ways, because they are not 1 book, but many.

  • Buddhism can be regarded as either a practical philosophy or a belief-based religion. Says wikipedia. Those tons of books written now about the world ending at 2012 are no indications of religion whatsoever. And thanks, I know what the Bible is.

  • just pay $1,000 dollars for a egrams test (sorry if i miss spell it) and your homosexuality will be all gone and you can ride on the scientology super-ship!... allforoverninethousanddollars

  • What dialect is that? Italian Middle-eAstern?

  • dutch :) I heard it the first second..

  • I stumbled into a "personality test" sight in the NYC subway once, long before I knew anything about Scientology or LRH. It's funny how they set up their tables with all the Dianetics books, but never mention ANYWHERE that they are the Church of Scientology. If that isn't a dead give away that they're manipulative & mis-leading, i don't know what is. Dianetics is complete gibberish. I couldn't even get half way through it before realizing I'd been duped.

  • so good to hear about somebody who escaped unscathed. this gave me a warm feeling when I heard it-no hatred just rejection of bullshit

  • preach on brother man, so good to hear about somebody who escaped unscathed. this gave me a warm feeling when I heard it-no hatred just rejection of bullshit

  • Good video, I'm glad you didn't fall victim to their nonsense. I've always suspected that LRH was so vehemently opposed to homosexuality as a front to hide his own homosexual tendencies.

  • I'm glad you left. Best of luck to you! ^^

I'm wondering why Dianetics is still called "The Modern Science of Mental Health" when it was written in the 50s.

  • Thank you!

I just watched a video from your favorites, where the Papa Hubbard's foaming from the mouth, spitting out all kinds of tech talk ("Yik, yik, yik - Assesment is NEVER auditing!"). It sure made me laugh!

    watch?v=t9reLONOJ7U

  • Dianetics is the worst book I have ever read. scientologists will tell you that it is a best seller but in fact they force their members to buy the book over and over again - library's keep throwing it out and rightly so.

Thanks for sharing your personal experience and I'm glad you didn't join up. As you said "think for yourself".

  • I don't think libraries should get rid of their copies of dianetics... They should just stick them all in the science fiction section ^^

  • I am so happy for you, and needless to say, you should count yourself a very lucky man. Dianetics is the worst book I've read.

  • Thanks!

  • "In the end, Scientology wasn't for me. In my experience, it doesn't work, it doesn't deliver, it doesn't give you freedom or happiness or enlightenment. "

Scientology might not deliver, but Anonymous will...

So good you're out, best of luck to you in the future.

  • Thanks! I'm sure together we will end this, exposing it for what it really is.

  • all videos on their channel "ChurchofScientology" have comments disabled...why?

  • hubbard said it best. if you truly want to make money.... start a religion

  • Thanks For Posting.

  • I picked up the book out of curiosity and put in down 1/3rd of the way through it. I was not about to read any more crap and garbage. What a messed up scientist. He must have found some very good drugs.I can't believe people actually fall for this. The world is full of lost souls looking for an answer. Yes life is very tough, and I have had my share and more of issues but I have. I happen to love Christ. I hope you find your higher power. We must have this to manage in this world.

    Best of luck

  • Just to clarify - a scientist is *NOT* a scientologist. Hubbard was a science fiction writer...not a scientist...And yes - you are right, he was using some very 'good' drugs.

  • He based his "dianetics" on some 19th century research into psychology and tried to sell the book. I dont remember the details but he somehow lost out on this business... then he realized if he could turn what he was doing into a religion - which of course would require lots of fancy fruity stories and "secret knowledge" he'd have to make up - he might somehow still strike it rich.

    It worked.

  • He wasn't a scientist, he was a sci-fie writer. And a bad one at that.

I've read Dianetics all the way through - one of the worst books I ever read in my life.

And yes, if you reference the life story of LRH, he was doing lots of drugs while he was writing his religion. Helped him come up with ideas. He's one of the biggest losers to have ever lived...

  • Wow, I think that you definitely did a lot of thinking, and I appreciate you taking the time to post this. By the way, you are very charismatic, and you speak slowly enough to hear and understand, but well enough that it keeps my interest! I think it's pretty ironic that dianetics says that we push out our rational thoughts to survive, whereas, I'm trying to keep them so I don't believe a thing that L. Ron Hubbard writes!

  • Thank you for watching this and taking the time to leave a message! ;-)

  • hehe i took my free personality test in london T.court road ,no one offered me a book though .I think they regected me hahahaha

  • Maybe it was hard for them "finding your ruin", or you might have come across as someone who's not worth the effort (not enough money, 'cause that's what it's all about, really). ;-)

  • lol lucky you. You probably don't earn enough for them

  • Yeah, scientology is pretty much a waste (but I think that way about all religion). Of course the other reason not to be a scientologist is that if you want to know about Xenu you have to sell your kidneys and heart and do a barrel roll during the operation.

  • I'm glad you were able to get out, I'm not gay, and no offense, I think gay is kinda weird, but on the other hand, I wish no ill will to gay folks or their way of life, live and let live.

nobody has ANY right to deny someone who they want to be with.

  • scientologists need to be get rid of they are the wrong on society

  • Most Scientologists are people with the best intentions, really. It's the organization that's rotten. I believe there's nothing or nobody "to get rid of" here. At the core of the organization there are lies, manipulation and exploitation. The more truth comes out, the less power for Scientology. It's that simple and it happens now.

  • 1337h4x0r222: i'd like to hear why.... i'd like to know what you believe, and why you say "they are THE wrong" and that they "need to be get rid of"

i say no person is a wrong on society

this is one of the primary steps for genocide and mass murder: dehumanization

sorry if you feel like i'm convicting you.... although i am earnestly interested as to why you think this.

  • Great story, all the best in the future

  • Why CHANonymous wasn't for me, Bunch of pedophile supporting bastards.

  • I'm not supporting that at all, honey! Don't be silly!

  • Do you like Orals? I am not for speaking English as a primary, but I understand your speaking. Scientology tried to lore me in, with tails of High Seas Adventures, and Sailors who believe in Jesus. This seemed o.k. at the time, so I ended up at Flag Base in United States, in the Peninsulas know as Florida. Here as a member of the Seaman, I mostly exchange labor for listening to L.Ron Hubbard tapes, and classes. Lucky my father wire me monies for escape back to Germany. I now live in U.S. again.

  • As much as I respect anyone for their beliefs, I refuse to believe that being gay is an illness/sin/perversion.

It is a mental state, that is specific to people and defines them as individuals. It is neither damaging to society or people, and has existed since the dawn of man, in one supressed manner or another.

Saying you're gay is just like saying you have blonde hair, or black skin.

  • I can't say one way or the other yet, but I do think it's a little ridiculous to say being gay is like having black skin... because as much as everyone has a right to follow what they feel on the inside, they also have an ability (if they WANT to), to change their own identities from the inside out. Anything that is a mental state can be changed, and/or reversed. Of course, what's the point, if someone's already comfortable with who they are currently? So the argument doesn't matter anyway.

  • jondeik, i agree

when it comes to matters of the mind--like love and sexual expression--everyone has a choice.... although honestly, in our society, we're training the next generation to have less and less control over our natural, human emotions and urges...

our minds and our emotions, hence actions, we can control [hopefully...]

our biologically dictated complexions we cannot control [although many of us try to]

  • At the end of the day,if you want to stick your knob up some blokes arse, then there must be something wrong with you...go get a woman, like man has for eternity.

  • Actually I don't like anal sex at all. Who are you to judge? You don't even know what you're talking about.

  • Can I 'stick my knob' up some woman's arse?

  • your just a homo no one cares what u think

  • People are sending many wonderful thank-yous and nice private messages from all over the world! It's not for you, nor for me, but for these people that I'm doing this, blowkay?

  • A lot of folks struggle with this one.Homosexuality is actually not an optimum state of mental health,it is perversion.

  • Only when you're brainwashed by some retarded denial system, honey!

  • I feel sorry for you that you won't accept who you are...

Homosexuality isn't a sickness that can be cured. I pity your stupidity.

  • ???

he said that he was gay and didn't fall for all that "it can be cured" crap.

  • Well it was suppossed to be a reply to VaVaNessa but apperantly I never clicked the reply button...

  • please, in all decency, do not call me stupid. you don't know me. all you know is that i was gay and then i wasn't

it took me a while to change, but i did it. and i know others who have done it too. i met a man, Mike Haley, who was gay for over 10 years, he was even a gigalo, but he was able to change his ways. now he's married with kids.

& before any words are put in my mouth, let me be clear: i don't believe all gay people are going to hell, i believe that anyone can get to heaven

  • You are so cool :)

  • I'm glad that you stood up for yourself-- and by doing that, stood up for others too. Thanks for sharing this.

  • You are very articulate. Thanks for this video.

  • Thank you for taking the time and effort to tell your story, these personal narratives help others avoid Scientology and its slipshod "technology" -- which has never been subjected to any kind of objective, scientific testing.

  • You sound like John Malkovich

  • fuck all religion!

  • tjanuranus: i believe in God. but you know what, i hope you're right, i would be nice if there was no afterlife, no soul, no meaning to our 80 arduous year of toil beneath the sun [besides, people seem superficial enough already, let's just strip life of all it's meaning now shall we?]

if the atheists turn out to be right, then all is well--we'll all die and go into the ground

but if the theists are right-- well, that's a whole new predicament for us all, now isn't it?

  • well if the atheists are right, at least no one will have to suffer any more than they do in this lifetime

    =/

  • Yeah but it also means our lives mean nothing... :P

  • you found yourself IN him? i thought you said you changed. :)

  • Colvax: firstly, i'm female. secondly, you hurt my feelings.

but honestly now, why would my feelings matter to you?

so what if i'm another sentient being with a family, a heart, and a mind just like your own. my feelings don't matter in the long run, now do they.... all that will matter to you 800 million years from now is whether or not you're in heaven

    God Bless

  • Um... Sorry for hurting your feelings. Was just playing around. :)

  • no worries, apology accepted

more than anything i just wanted to make a point that behind all this little black and white text is one more freely thinking person who can laugh and cry, and will live and die just like everyone else.

  • Than I hope you agree with L. Ron Hubbard's view on blowing your brains out and touring the galaxy

  • great post, thank you for sharing your story

  • This must have took a lot of courage..

Thank you for this personal insight!

  • for real.

  • I bet you can look back now and be relieved and proud that you had the strength to leave before it was too late.

  • My sympathy

  • A detailed story of how scientology operates on young impressionable minds, first with honey and promises of enlightenment, then with intimidation and pressure when the promises are unfulfilled.
