started doing this realistically it is about 7k a run which takes about 2-3 minutes depending if they glitch or not still worth it though i recommend defeating the kantra demon or something in the lower burgh and then the faceless giant mage and then the butterfly do that dont spend any and you should have somewhere around 10-12k souls then either farm dragon, kill black nights (best if you are magic) or just farm giants farm dragon bridge is safest though

Buy the key from the Blacksmith in front of the forest. The one below the bonfire

@CerebrumTranceStep Dude, you know the entrance to the forest? The guy with the lighting staff guards it. Well before the guy guarding the door there is a blacksmith, he sells it. Above him is a bonfire.

@Starsky5O Yeah.... About that. I found 20k souls to be a bit pricey. So I killed him and he dropped the item along with a Blacksmith Hammer. It sucks because I gave him 2 emblems already, but I can always use the blacksmith in the land of the giants. There's also one below the Fire Link Shrine. In the long run, I saved 20k souls and I gained 2 rare items.

@CerebrumTranceStep Yeah but..... I hate killing NPC's call me a good guy but yeah. I kept him because he was handy to have right there, actually there is only one NPC you should outright kill, I won't spoil anything but it is best to kill this character as soon as you meet him

@Starsky5O Well it all started with me hitting a wrong button and next thing I know it he's drop kicking me. If you're talking about Lautrec, I already killed him. I'm actually just getting out of the swamp and I'm about to enter the Fortress.

@Starsky5O Sorry, friend. PS3 here. Otherwise I would take you up on that. I'm actually in Anor Londo right now. Stuck on Ornstein the Dragon Slayer and Smough the Executioner. They're tough as hell on their own, but when you bring down one, the other gets sentimental and becomes enraged. I am enjoying Lautrec's ring though. It's saved my life on more than one occasion.
