  • What the fuck I hate you people on youtube, how was that bad form in any way? That was a well over 3 times body weight that's incredible. Also, if this guy did a comp, finished it he could gain 16 pounds in a week just fine. I gained ten pounds the first week I started lifting and I wasn't dehydrated or dieted down past my natural body fat to begin with. Man fuck some of you youtube people.

Someone who isn't used to working out or eating alot, which u have to do to gain weight and muscle, your going to put on weight really fast for the first week then I'll slowly even out at about one or two punds a week.

  • @87aces If you've ever competed before you would know that one has to diet down to make a weight class. In my case it was lightweight (145-154). So yeah I gained 16 lbs in a week. I probably gained 10lbs easy the day after my competition.

I only competed in one show so I'm no expert but for the next couple of weeks after that I could eat pizza and ice cream everyday and not gain any weight.

Cutting weight is about removing excess water from your body to achieve the lightest weight u can given your physique. A majority of they body's weight is water so by depleting thebody's water you can lose a lot of weight then gain most of if not all of it back in a matter of a few days.
