@fabeape Actually, in the video it does look undercut... It's really not, just a little bit of 'slag' (not really slag, given the nature of this particular welding process, but I'm sure you know what I mean) from the rust, dirt, oil, etc. that was left on this particular piece of scrap that ended up on either side of the bead....there's quite a bit wrong with this particular piece; hence the term 'practice'.
I do, however, greatly appreciate your constructive criticism.
