First of all, read some comments, I explained this a lot of times already.

Second, I know the game inside out, where treasures are etc.

THUS, I only collect what I NEED and do what I HAVE to do.

Saving the "dog" is luxury and useless on Pro mode (YES, he WON'T help you during the first El Gigante fight on Pro, no matter what other people say).

I would have KILLED it if it was possible, just because it's ridiculous how people rage about that (he's NOT REAL!).

They are not zombies. Even though many people play this game and understand the story, they always call them zombies. It would be right to assume they were since the previous installments had zombies and the villagers kind of look like them. But it is very clear that they aren't from the beginning. After killing the first villager, stand over him and press the action button. Leon will say that he doesn't look like a zombie. This instantly implies that he is just an infected human, as stated.

@Rimfire748 on the wii edition, the flash can destroy shootable objects at close range, and if u charge it up, it makes multiple lasers and destroys EVERYTHING that is shootable in your view, except bosses that require two stages to defeat (u3, krauser, el gigante, etc)

Salvador would just cut the door open. If you want their peseta drops, grab the shotgun with some shells and blow them away/use grenades. Alternatively, you can knife the whole village, though that might take some practice.

Nah, it doesnt matter where you hit them and I did not aim at any specific part. The only body part that takes extra damage, even by Leon's knife, is the head.

Hey, Ive played Res Evil 4 on Normal loads of times now and Im really unsure about doing it on Professional. This is mostly because I find killing the bosses so repetetive and boring that Im imagining the bosses on the harder mode are just going to take twice as long to kill. Tell me this isnt the case and ill go for it. Less ammo doesnt bother me, as Im great at conserving anyway, and play the entire game on just a handgun, shotgun and automatic rifle. HOw do the bosses compare to Normal?

The knife seems to be stronger than in other versions i know ( german Pal PS2/WII), i´ve to hit enemys more than 3 times until they die.

The only version where the knife is the weakest is the NA-version. They buffed it in every other one (it's "firepower" is 1 now, like the standard Handgun).

Well, I only pick up what I really need, otherwise I would waste too much space in my inventory (and I hate having to choose what stuff to throw away etc.). This is not supposed to be a "speedrun" per se, it just shows rather fast ways to get through every area.

No, this is the NTSC version.

The north american version is the only one where the knife deals minimal damage. They increased it for all others (it's "firepower" is around 1.0)

I can't answer that for 100%, it was there to begin with. In some versions, you have to die a couple of times on normal mode to unlock easy mode, but I can't tell you for sure. You can google it for more information.

hey you know those villigers your killing( through constant knifing in the head,legs, and belly) are they some kinda zombie or are they just insane cannible people. they have like corpses all over the place but they got cattle and chickens that they seem to be raising. they make this weird breathing noise when they attack(or throw thier stick or what looks to be a machete at you).

Resident Evil 4 was the first part of the series where regular zombies were replaced. Ganados are regular humans who got infected with Las Plagas, which causes some changes in their behaviour. However, they remain human for the most part.

You're the master you really surprise in the way you use the knife.

You can look around yourself with the joystick. When you're looking right or left, simply push the aim-button to quickly aim in that direction.

Well, equipping a grenade makes the specific character run a bit faster than with a different weapon. Same goes for rocket launchers (except the infinite one, leon holds that one differently :S )

@HixXxXxiH I see. I never noticed the increase in running speed when equiping a grenade. You usually kill your enemies with a knife, if that's the case, why not equip a grenade for most of your gameplay?

Very impressive, im currently working my way through pro mode for the 9th or 10th time :) its fairly straight forward. I never use the knife, i mean never and i still have loads of ammo left over towards the end of the game. Still this is extremely well done
