When did this lot get issued their berets? It seems to me they think they've gained an automatic place in their capbadge as they've been issued certain berets which change from one individual to another.

@Knightwars4 They do a drill test early on in their time there after passing that they earn the right to wear the barnet covers of the regiment they have decided to join. You do a the same test if you do senior entry. Although quiet clearly nobody has taught them how to shape a beret my CSM would go nuts at some of those HLS looking beret's

@TheWebby95 i was in the light infantry nearly 40 yrs ago,the light infantry is now the rifles after the name change a few years ago,you will find the training tough but rewarding,i was in for 12 years and even now i still miss the regiment,anyway i wish you all the luck in the world you really will enjoy it and certainly learn a lot kind regards pete ex 2nd battallion light infantry now the rifles.

i was at the afc in 2000 before it was all knocked down and rebuilt, new camp is great but wait till u get to cattrick ohhhhh ur in for a shock i served in the argyle and sutherland highlanders now called 5 scots, stick at it kids its the best thing u will do in ur life.

Got defered at adsc for a heart murmur!!! Which has prevented me from joining in september, but thats all been cleared now which means i have the oppertunity to do adsc again! It was a shame i couldnt show myself at adsc, im really determined, physically fit and really want to get in and enjoy working as part of a team. Hopefully this time i will pass and get in AFC harrogate for January :) It looks amazing, more vids on it would be brilliant!
