I KNOW WHAT IT IS!!!!!! if someone wants to flip a house to make extra $, the capital gains tax is around 15% right now. it used to be at 30 to 35% when clinton was in office. now i'm just a carpenter but when it came down people took their $ and bought old homes and fixed them up and sold them to make a profit. so even this carpenter knows a little about capital gains tax . it's sad to think that 3/4 of americans don't know what it is.
