My interp. of this song is a pack of wolves running in the woods to the beat of the drums. A hunter is persuing them and one by one they are getting picked off. Soon ders only two wolves left and one is killed infront of the last remaining wolf who runs to avoid the hunter. The huntr shoots and hits the wolf who hits the ground. This is when the cello (2:59) kicks in and the wolf finally gathers enough strength for one final attack at (3:42). He sprints circling the hunter and kills the hunter.

I don't know what it's like to kill a person but I can say this, whenever you see a movie like LOTR and you see waves of men charging into their enemy. Right at the last second there's a certain state of mind where your at peace, when your in that state there's no time, no past, no future. No guilt or any emotion, your right there in the moment, I think that's why Amon Amarth put that little bit of Apocalyptica in this.
