I'll tell you guys something, though. Almost ALL Gloucester residents, especially the fishermen, hated this movie. We absolutely do NOT sound like that. "Are we Glostamen?" Gimme a break, Clooney.

The sea is an addiction you love and hate at the same time, but that's NEVER going to leave you alone for the rest of your life. Take it from a Dutch ex-trawlerman, who's not been at sea for 23 yrs, but stil misses her every day.

Thank the LORD I've never encountered a wave like shown in the movie.
