THANKS FOR THE VIDEO IM 15 YEARS OLD,I STOPPED AT 2.00 AND I FINISHED THE JOB NOW MY DADS 2010 COBALT HAS BLUE LIGHTS LOL I HAVEN'T TOLD HIM YET HELL FIND OUT ANYWAYS THNX AGAIN
thanks for the video man i remember last time i had to take it with a mechanic but it did not look that hard but i was lost then i watched your video and i could change my own light thank you very much . By any chance can you make a video of how to change the tail light? is really hard too
@805hoodrat- Yes, I believe it is the same. I don't think they changed it all. If they did I am sure it was a major change..knowing GM. Let me know if they did.
Once installed check to see of they need leveling. It be smart to mark on a wall where they old lights projected so adjusting them will be easier. Good luck. Thanks for the comments.
After you put everything back in place. Does the headlights need to be leveled or is it good to go? I got burnt out lights and going to follow your video on replacing them right now.
i just changed my bulbs and but new silvania bulbs in and they are not near a bright!! i turn my brights on and i cant see far at all in the country like i could with my stock ones.. did i do something wrong?.. the bulbs are more powerful than my stock ones, it doesnt make sence.
Also, careful at 2:39 ! You just grazed the glass part of the bulb against the locking mechanism... just a little bit more force and you could have cracked it easily.
Great video! Just what I was looking for. The manual isn't very descriptive and the internet article "how-to's" are just a replica of the manual. With your help I was able to replace this in no time. The only hard part was removing the headlight itself, takes a little elbow grease.
When I first took out my headlight I thought I was going to bust it.. I then discovered the proper technique and I can change a bulb in a few mins..I am glad that I could help!
thanks! this vid helped me out alot

Did you re-adjust your lamps after the install. I noticed most Cobalts headlights are not aimed right so try that and let me know..

This saved my life! I drive down in Mass and wouldn't have survived a day without a ticket. The info in the manual sucks!
Thanks so much!
