just once id love to see a show like this vote the logical way. let the judges start it. then let the people call. one call per person. final votes should count caller votes. who was being counted when they tallied Rachael Crow's votes. Just how did they figure that?

the audition stage of x factors has to be fixed there is no way that all those people are given a real chance to be heard . Why do some really awful people make it to perform in front of the judges whilst genuine acts never see the light of day. Think the early auditions shouldn't be filmed and X Factor proper should start at the Boot Camp stage. Hope Gary Barlow should put his foot down this year and stop all the manipulation we all know goes on each year.

No, it's not. But it can be a con at times. Sometimes giving certain people more air time, and allowing them to go last on the Final can trigger different results.

Every one you see in the auditions IS hand picked by the producers. I saw loads of amazing singers get turned down by the producers jus so they could make the show more interesting. simon then picks who he thinks will make him the most money and he does not want them to be to successful as he can make more money that way.
If you are tallented send a demo to a record company.

It's manipulated defo, but the insider informed so called press releases, the public bullying of Danyl Johnson by three of the Judges and the bullying of the some other contestantts by Louis Walsh made for uncomfortable viewing at times and you can see from the stats that it had the desired effect. Then there was the choice of the Disney Classic for the winners song. Add it all togerther and I would say yes It was a fix

i think its manipulated---when the competitors go to the judges houses, some are filtered out that are very good singers but are not what they are looking for like treyc from birmingham - in los angeles-she was an excellent vocalist, much stronger than the soloman girl by far
of course its fixxed get over it,the votes on x factor are counted by a computer and computer programmes can easierly be manipulated very very easy to do,a few yrs down the line and this will all come out and x factor will be on its knees if it aint already.
Lloyds voice was unik.. just lige michael buble's voice. Lloyd was just only 16, and hadn't learned to control it 100% yet. but he was REALLY talentet.

Of course it's not fixed. The best singer and the two most popular are in the final, and the final 5 were all fantastic singers with their own style, especially Lloyd who really was a good singer, the judges (apart from Louis who nobody cares about) all agreed he's great and has a truly beautiful tone to his voice. People don't just vote based on looks you know!

Lloyd can sing, he has his own individual style. Just because you don't like his voice doesn't mean he isn't good. If you don't like somebody then fair enough but don't slag them. Yeah I am a teenage girl but that's nothing to do with my music taste cause I don't fancy Any of the Bon jovi band members yet they're one of my favourite bands. yes its a fix, mainly because of the fact lloyd has gone... not saying hes better than the remaining acts but think about it... most of the people voting are girls in their teens, aka me, and yes i did vote 20 odd times, and if i did, im sure plenty other girls did, so how the hell is he still not there?! hmm... i dont get it, hes beat danyl at one point, and olly, as they were both in the bottom two when he managed to get through, so how did he not beat them when we'd have voted the most?
My only suspicion that it COULD be fixed is that I have found it very strange that ALL the finalists were seen talking to Dermot O'Leary when they were in the queue and he "just happend to bump into them". Also, Stacey was the first audition we watched and Joe, I think was the second!!

I wouldn't say it's fixed, but I don't understand how Simon asked for the public vote with jedward and Lucie Jones. He kept criticisint the brothers and saying Lucie was really good, and then he let the public decide. You know why? Because it's a game, and the judges want to win. They want their singers to win. And Lucie was a strong contestant. That's why they didn't save her. Or Rikki Loney. Or Rachel against the crappy Lloyd.

Just watched Danyl Johnson sing Relight my Fire and the judges comments make me wonder whether it is fixed. He was awful, enunciation is rubbish so none of the words are clear, his voice is all over the place. I wouldn't even have recognised the song without the music. They are all saying he is great. Reckon it must be fixed as he is dreadful.
As someone who has done transcription on the votes of years gone by, I can say that not all votes always takwn into account on the show. Right before closure and just after opening it can get hazy as to when the votes are counted from, but that wouldn't be called fixing it !!
There are some fixes,some of the so called talents were audities from previous years reinvited to give it a shot again,same happens on BGT en American Idol,but that is as far as it goes,the talented itself have to run their course,and if they fail they fail,public decides in the end.

to be honest i thought it was a singing competition to see which is the best singer. every year (except for this year), people have voted for the right person to win. If john and edward win this year, then it will be a fix because if you listen to them carefully, you can hear very clearly how bad they sing because they are not hitting the right pitch in there singing voices..
Was Leona Lewis' year fixed? Or what about American Idol, with Kelly Clarkson.. The show was made by the same people.. How about that? If it was fixed, the outcome of the right person winning would be minimal, and I can think of a few winners who rightfully deserved it.
Most people think it is fixed to keep viewers high, but the end result will remain to be someone who they (Simon et al) believe will make them money in the future. So its not to say the winners are not the best but the path to the winners are designed to keep you sit and watch every show.
Fair comment. The point of The X Factor is not so much to create a star but to generate revenue through phone voting. And let's face it, love them or hate them, the twins generate interest and lots of it.
That last theory cannot be true, as there are only 3 acts left in the final, and there are 4 categories. It wouldn't be possible.

i think its manipulated---when the competitors go to the judges houses, some are filtered out that are very good singers but are not what they are looking for like treyc from birmingham - in los angeles-she was an excellent vocalist, much stronger than the soloman girl by far

of course its fixxed get over it,the votes on x factor are counted by a computer and computer programmes can easierly be manipulated very very easy to do,a few yrs down the line and this will all come out and x factor will be on its knees if it aint already.

Lloyds voice was unik.. just lige michael buble's voice. Lloyd was just only 16, and hadn't learned to control it 100% yet. but he was REALLY talentet.

Of course it's not fixed. The best singer and the two most popular are in the final, and the final 5 were all fantastic singers with their own style, especially Lloyd who really was a good singer, the judges (apart from Louis who nobody cares about) all agreed he's great and has a truly beautiful tone to his voice. People don't just vote based on looks you know!

Lloyd can sing, he has his own individual style. Just because you don't like his voice doesn't mean he isn't good. If you don't like somebody then fair enough but don't slag them. Yeah I am a teenage girl but that's nothing to do with my music taste cause I don't fancy Any of the Bon jovi band members yet they're one of my favourite bands. I'm not being cheeky here btw just voicing my opinion lol

yes its a fix, mainly because of the fact lloyd has gone... not saying hes better than the remaining acts but think about it... most of the people voting are girls in their teens, aka me, and yes i did vote 20 odd times, and if i did, im sure plenty other girls did, so how the hell is he still not there?! hmm... i dont get it, hes beat danyl at one point, and olly, as they were both in the bottom two when he managed to get through, so how did he not beat them when we'd have voted the most?

My only suspicion that it COULD be fixed is that I have found it very strange that ALL the finalists were seen talking to Dermot O'Leary when they were in the queue and he "just happend to bump into them". Also, Stacey was the first audition we watched and Joe, I think was the second!!
Joe to win by far! He will be the biggest UK talent of 2010. Stunning performances and a great voice to back up the looks!

I wouldn't say it's fixed, but I don't understand how Simon asked for the public vote with jedward and Lucie Jones. He kept criticisint the brothers and saying Lucie was really good, and then he let the public decide. You know why? Because it's a game, and the judges want to win. They want their singers to win. And Lucie was a strong contestant. That's why they didn't save her. Or Rikki Loney. Or Rachel against the crappy Lloyd.

Just watched Danyl Johnson sing Relight my Fire and the judges comments make me wonder whether it is fixed. He was awful, enunciation is rubbish so none of the words are clear, his voice is all over the place. I wouldn't even have recognised the song without the music. They are all saying he is great. Reckon it must be fixed as he is dreadful.

As someone who has done transcription on the votes of years gone by, I can say that not all votes always takwn into account on the show. Right before closure and just after opening it can get hazy as to when the votes are counted from, but that wouldn't be called fixing it !!

There are some fixes,some of the so called talents were audities from previous years reinvited to give it a shot again,same happens on BGT en American Idol,but that is as far as it goes,the talented itself have to run their course,and if they fail they fail,public decides in the end.

the X factor is a fix in my opinion.
to be honest i thought it was a singing competition to see which is the best singer. every year (except for this year), people have voted for the right person to win. If john and edward win this year, then it will be a fix because if you listen to them carefully, you can hear very clearly how bad they sing because they are not hitting the right pitch in there singing voices..

Most people think it is fixed to keep viewers high, but the end result will remain to be someone who they (Simon et al) believe will make them money in the future. So its not to say the winners are not the best but the path to the winners are designed to keep you sit and watch every show.

I don't think it's fixed. There is no point. The whole aim of the show is to produce a popstar that appeals to the british public - by being put through rounds of live shows and chosen by the public.
If it was fixed, the winner wouldn't appeal to the public.. which would ruin the show's point.
