Wow, I'm a huge alice fan and I really enjoyed this. If I could offer some constructive criticism, I think that the daylight in the outdoor shots kind of threw off the mood a little, maybe if you were to go back with some editing, I think a darker filter lik a blue or a red would up the intensity greatly. otherwise, great work, very well captured! :)

Wow, although it had home video quality everything else was pretty good. The effects, the music and the thing when she looked at the camera at the right time was a nice touch too. Was a bit lost in some scenes but over all I say it was pretty well done. Bloopers were kinda funny too lol.

What annoys me about this portrayal, is that it's ALL her. I think it started out wonderful and there were parts of it that kept me involved. I just found it difficult to enjoy when you're making the audience completely use their imagination to imagine what Alice is imagining. American McGee's Alice was actually quite graphic, and while I understand you didn't want to do exactly what was done there, I would still have liked to see more than a scantily clad girl running with a knife.

Well, there are different versions, or in this case, perspectives of alice in wonderland. Based on the American M. version, when she was a little girl, she went to wonderland in her dreams when one night, a fire burned down her house and killed her parents. Feeling guilty of their deaths she ends up returning to wonderland,but it's twisted and horrifying. It was her fault that it is that way cause of the anguish she feels about her parents' deaths, so now she must kill the queen and fix the land

I you want to get technical with facts, the russian alice happens to have brown hair AND brown eyes. This was a very well done student film and your worried about these little 'facts.' I mean, the whole point of Alice in Wonderland is, each person can see it a different way. Maybe she imagined it all, dreamt it all, maybe it was real etc.

Where as McGee's version perfectly depicts it in a as induced by her imagination, thus, when she becomes insane it twists it in a wonderful way.

Despite peoples comments here, I think this captures it well. Regardless of miniscule differences...

A film is meant to give entertainment over a much shorter period of time than required to read a book... So they obviously need to shorten it lol.

fact-nerd attack! heh.. we are hearing a remix here, name mentioned by mr james is right for the remix. the actual name for the track itself is Loituma - Leva's Polka and indeed is in finnish... mostly... the most popular lead thing people seem to use from it is nonsensical.. i believe closest term is scat singing? the lyrical part is in the thickest finnish dialect from the edge of finland neighbouring russia, more or less.
