@BoxyTheSpaceDog Agree! Everyone is beatable. This was surely the about-face and that's why Federer lost the match. The only two players to beat Federer 10 times or more are Djokovic and Nadal. They're both phisically and mentally in a better shape than Federer.

LOLOLOL! Roger was beyond pissed off that Novak had the audacity to stave off a match point with that forehand return winner! LOLOLOLOL! He said it's something only a junior player would hit. LOLOLOLOL! Keep on eating those sour grapes, Rogi!
@TheSnowMan717 Nope. Not even as cocky as Rogi Federer. Watch Rogi's reaction after he beat Novak at 2010 Roland Garros with his index finger waving in the air, indicating he, Rogi, is the true No. 1.
As much as I love the Fed, I just can't stand how he has been unable to defeat El Hombre in grand slams since the 2007! So, thank you Djoker for playing the game with such abandon, fearlessness and skill. Can't wait for RG!!
I got a different interpretation - he used the tension and the crowd to delay Federer's serve and get focus . It's not against the rules, but Federer was just waiting while he was walking around, not really fair...
Fed is guilty by himself, often showing that he doesn`t like to wait and Joker provocated him in purpose, for he is a Balkan-boy, or a Belgrade-boy, if you wish to. He knows how it is, to raise up in a ghetto. Fed does not appreciate such methods.
haha it was funny, during this match the whole crowd was cheering for roger and then djokovic was like wtf and he hits this shot and he raises his hand and is like "cmon, whered my fans go?"
@quest8899 he basically gave up and hit a reckless shot that LUCKILY went in. i give him full credit for fighting back after winning this point, but with regards to this point, its pure luck. if you were rational, you would agree.
@himbomb Lucky, U say... Well, please, take a look at this video "[HD] Djokovic vs Federer US Open 2011 SF Highlights Part 1" & pay atention on the begining of the 3rd set, when Nole was 1:0 up & Fed served at 40:40. I belive that return that Novak hit at that moment was the same as that one at 5:3 in the 5th set, when Fed served for match, same side, same serve from Fed, same angle, and the same return... Now, do U really think that it's just luck to hit the same shot 2 times in one match!?!?!
That's bullshit!!!!!! Every one talk's about that return at 5:3 in the 5th set because it was on a match point, but that one at 1:0 & 40:40 at the begining of the 3rd set no one mentioned, although it was literally the same shot... That's just a proof that all of U, Fed fans are jealous because U're beloved king is razed by Nole, & that's not really a nice gesture.
alright once is an exception. twice is a luck. if he does this one more time, say it next us open then this becomes the rule. and we'll all know he wanted to do this purposly not accidently.
i remember hating this game soo much.federer had matchpoint after breaking djokovic at 4-3 then he just collapsed...had the match in hand after a great fight and struggle but lost it.and i still hate djokovic's attitude.always happy when his opponent roger or everbody else hits the net and he's like 'Yeeah!!! Come on!!!!'...very unprofessional...that's why i hate murray too...and nadal...but i also hate nadal because he's a dirty scratch-ass pants shitter who has no knowledge of toilet paper.
@dichidi1 No, nothing true. You just hate them because they all own him this year(excpect Murray) and you hate Murray because he leads in head to head against Federer 8:6. Djokovic and Nadal are better nowadays than Federer, get it!
@serbianpupil i don't hate them for beating federer,i was upset with federer losing to them...they still have to grow a lot to become a true pro.someone who's happy when his opponent screws up is not a pro...the funny thing is you can see how happy they are when they win a point on roger, when roger just nods a little or clinches his fist when winning a point against them...federer is pure class.djokovic, nadal and murray are good, but roger is in a totally different league...the league of legends
@dichidi1 Lol, they are 5 or 6 years younger than Federer. Nadal has the chance to overrun Federer! Federer doesn't show emotions because he doesn't want to show his oppenent how he's feeling!
@dichidi1 Copy/paste this and hit Search button "roger federer breaks his racquet in match against novak djokovic". Also, after this match Fed said that only amateurs hit balls like that, when he was asked about this return of Djokovic. Now, that was very professional, right? Djokovic ALWAYS claps to opponent if he makes a good point, but you don't see that, do you? Watch again Roland Garros semifinals, watch Novak's attitude.
I was devastated for about 2 days after I saw this match. I really like Novak and really, good for him for being really successful, but Federer's my man and it broke my heart :(
Thats bullshit, he did not deserve to win. Even though he has had an amazing year this year, he can still not be used in the same sentence as Roger Federer.
@stpabo you wanna cry about it? federers a primadonna cocky bitch. this was great for tennis, i LOVED how djokovic knew the match was stil his the way he looked to his girlfriend in the crowd and nodded like "yup, i got it" hahhahaha. federer fans are about as classless as roger himself. cocky and arrogance gets you nowhere in life, and federer had to learn that the hard way. awww booo hoooo. novak=KING
@bigcity777333 Hey buddy, obviously you have never actually played tennis, cause if you had you would know that when you are down 2 match points to ANYONE, you do not think " i got this" When your down like that, most people just start slapping returns and some of them go in. FLUKE. And Federer is the classiest player there has ever been, and the best ambassador the sport of tennis could ever ask for. So why don't you shut your mouth and stop crying :D
@stpabo actually when youve owned roger federer before, and you know your having the greatest tennis season of all time, and you know how good it will feel to shut up his bitch fanbase and dance in front his family after he comes back, yeah, im pretty sure you know :) awwwww, he won okay, go jerk off to how good federer used to be :) theres a new king, and his name is DJOKOVIC, buy some new tissues, im sure yours are running low by now :) feel free to send me another comment so i can own u again
@bigcity777333 You are one of those faggots who just sits behind their computer and chirp people over the internet to feel good about them selves. Just look at the Federer - Djokovic match. Pardon me who has owned who? You still haven't answered my question : Have you ever played tennis. Mabey get some intelligence and knowledge about tennis and it's history rather than sitting at home making a fool out of yourself. P.S. Your parents are brother and sister :D
@bigcity777333 How about you actually say somthing usefull instead of just embarassing yourself. The Federer - Djokovic head to head match record is 14-10 in favor of who? FEDERER. Federer is 30 and they still are equall playing abilities. Djokovic never beat Federer in his prime. Stilkl have not answered my question : Have you ever played tennis?
@stpabo sorry buddy, novak =king federer = crybaby just like his fans, and yoru proving my point by making excuses by 'not beating him in his prime' he lost. deal with it. :) haha, his fans are such losers hahah. GO NOVAK!!!!!!
This is a perfect moment in tennis history, sure he may have had a little luck, but he still had to read the serve and most players couldn't make this return with all the luck there is, his face is classic, i hated this crowd, Nole let the crowd bug him at RG but here he showed he didn't give a damn, Wow, good tennis this USO ( especially the final and this match)

@emiliadu66 "Just lucky return"? Novak saved two match points in this semifinal (2011) and did the same thing year before (2010) against Federer in fantastic way. This is no luck my friend...
@TheStorm560 Do you mean: "You say: Impossible is nothing. Well Roger did the impossible by losing with a 2 set advantage"? Learn to speak English and that most certainly wasn't the impossible. The impossible is you stringing a proper English sentence together without any spelling errors
@TheStorm560 Do you mean: "You say: Impossible is nothing. Well Roger did the impossible by losing with a 2 set advantage"? Learn to speak English and that most certainly wasn't the impossible. The impossible is you stringing a proper English sentence together without any spelling errors
Djokovic is really really awesome, fedex has left his best in the past, though he is still better than everyone except, djokovic and nadal. But it was Djokovic who played really well, and won at the end. I like this guys attitude towards the game, he just accepts the defeat in a very large hearted way, and since he was cool, he took his chances and won the game
That was one of the best moments in tennis under the circumstances, Djokovic was nodding before the point and then boom he hits an incredible forehand winner then raises his arms in the air, that was awesome.
It was cross court, almost inside the servers box and almost on the double's line. It was amazing! Both Rafa and Roger said in their press conferences that it was a desperation shot that shouldn't have gone in. Oh, well. It did go in and it was what turned the whole match around. Novak is having one hell of a year.
seriously roger why go to his forehand on match point when he's looking resigned? he hit this shot quite a few times in the match! why choose the wing he can hit a winner off? i would love to know :(

I like this guys attitude towards the game, he just accepts the defeat in a very large hearted way, and since he was cool, he took his chances and won the game

true, but someone who won 16 grand slams shouldn't be called a loser don't you think? it's better to say that nole was a good winner in this match
16 GS and no grace? that's stupid
bsleear 5 months ago
It was a calculated risk. Federer is such a bad loser - what a twat, to have won 16 GSs and still have acquired no grace whatsoever.

That was one of the best moments in tennis under the circumstances, Djokovic was nodding before the point and then boom he hits an incredible forehand winner then raises his arms in the air, that was awesome.

Don`t be shy, speak it out - the guy might be a genius. On the other hand, he`s cool.
