  • tune .see them with s.l.f in the 80s got booed and piss thrown at them.......

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • Not one for the masses but for those who remember it a brilliant moment.

  • Thanks for posting this, I remember seeing this video several years back on MuchMusic. It was so bizarre, but memorable!

  • Thank god for John Peel

Miss him and his shows soooo much

  • This is the most brilliant music/video I have ever seen on Youtube. If you've ever heard of MGMT then you'll see where they've got their inspiration from. Even if they've probably never heard of Stump.

So much music, so little time.

  • Brilliant! Always loved this tune!

  • RIP indeed.

  • Exactly what I wanted to see and hear. Goodness, if only Chuck had possessed 1/1000th of the wit displayed here. Saw Stump live in '88. Love you people.

  • I didn't know Heston was supposed to be a comedian.

  • Wit and comedy are nearly exact opposites.

  • You can get both Stump albums plus more from tomorrow on a 3 CD issue.

  • Heard it on John Peel back in the day and I bought "A Fierce Pancake" just on the strength of this track alone. I really enjoyed the album, but could never find any others that Stump did.

  • Yay! thanks so much for posting this! it's been going through my head all day!

  • RIP Charlton Heston

  • I remember this so well! Great stuff!

Of course what brought it to mind was the fact that Charlton Heston died today. Strange that this record was the first thing I thought of rather than all the great movies he starred in! Fitting tribute to the man anyway :) R.I.P.
