I remember only seeing this once back in 1988 on saturday morning UK TV and it stuck in my mind ever since , i've searched for it on youtube from time to time with no luck ... then today Bingo!!!! .... Thank you for uploading !!!!!!
Pure class - loved this song from all those years ago and Im so glad I have found it here. Thanks for taking me down a very happy part of memory lane.
I'd forgotten how biblically arrousing...in a hillbilly-hollywood stylee...this 'homage to the big CH was...cheers for reminding me...now I can return to the Alabama gospel...
Thanks for posting this! I still have a 12" of theirs in the loft. I have 600+ VHS videos up there from 1981 onwards, and on one of them is Stump's live appearance on The Tube, plus an interview after they aired the "Buffalo" video... I promise to dig it out and put it up before Xmas!
This is the most brilliant music/video I have ever seen on Youtube. If you've ever heard of MGMT then you'll see where they've got their inspiration from. Even if they've probably never heard of Stump.
Feeling so wild my amazing sports body full of sexual energy!. I'm a REAL woman who wants to get naughty on cam with a REAL guy like YOU MY DEAR! I'm here to pleasure U dear, come to me! come visit me at Play-Cam (.COM) my user-id there is Zoe-gysv chat soon on cam ;)
Exactly what I wanted to see and hear. Goodness, if only Chuck had possessed 1/1000th of the wit displayed here. Saw Stump live in '88. Love you people.
Heard it on John Peel back in the day and I bought "A Fierce Pancake" just on the strength of this track alone. I really enjoyed the album, but could never find any others that Stump did.
Of course what brought it to mind was the fact that Charlton Heston died today. Strange that this record was the first thing I thought of rather than all the great movies he starred in! Fitting tribute to the man anyway :) R.I.P.
that guitar player was foxy as hell.

I concluded that Stump was the most brilliant band ever at the end of the night, but i can no longer really articulate why.
