We are so used to consuming and not producing. Right now our economy is 70% consumption and that imbalance cannot be corrected without recession. The government needs to do NOTHING and let the storm pass. The recession would've been a blessing in disguise and in the long term would've made life affordable for americans again without borrowing bazillions from the bank and exhausting their credit cards.
