Dr. Schoen is an amazing human being. I took my 2 goldens to him when he was first starting his veterinary practice. He is the most gentle, kind, warm and loving man I have ever known. Thank you for this significant explanation. For so long I have worked to explain to people I have a "relationship" with my dogs, yet few understand. No, they are not "my children" as they interpret what I'm trying to explain. I listen to them, their language, and watch their behavior, and work to understand what they are communicating. It is an awakening when I feel an exchange of communication with my dogs and cats. You expressed this so well.

May I add your website and videos have given me greater insight and understanding. I have always believe dogs and children are light years ahead of us on our adult journey through life. They ask so little of us, yet give back much more in return. I'm 54, and through them I have learned forgiveness, compassion and how to laugh at myself. I hope to read more of Dr. Schoen.
