I remember a Philippine Pop Cola tv ad in the 70s where they used american actors and danced around in that advert. I wonder if anyone on Youtube would be able to put that up. I also wish someone would post up that artistic Sarsi commercial (back in the 80s) with the song "mag Sarsi ka para ma-iba.." composed by Ryan Cayabyab. Unitel Productions made a lot of gem commercials back in the 80s and 90s too, even until now with the alien nescafe tv advert.
they are just expanding their product line... since Cosmos is losing against Coca-Cola, so it is better to acquire Pop rather than making another soda which is very costly to introduce to the public, in other words, they were after Pop's name. nyhahaha

o yung birch tree na commercial kasama si Jimmy Santos, Sun-Glo juice"dancing at the party/picnic at the park" o yung mga 3D electric fan spots w/ subas herrero noel trinidad & nanette inventor, or yung Pioneer Epoxy jingle na kinanta ni Yoyoy Villame..or di kaya, fast forward natin sa 90s..yung mga ads ng Tanduay with Ka Kiko & Ted Failon..or yung commercial naman ng Emperaning(Emperador Brandy) with VP Kabayan..kung ako sa inyo halungkatin nyo na mga betamax nyo na tapes..apir!
