  • you can find the big hole left over on gogle/maps/nellis afb bombing range

  • one of the best I have seen, shows what our men were put through without there concent

  • my us history teacher told me they did a thing on it on like ETV or something, and they said there where like 1000 troops that had to walk to it, and of those 1000 only 2 are still alive.

  • For your information, the test in this video was the 20KT Dog test detonated at 8:30 A.M (local time) on May 1, 1952. This test was an Air Burst at 1040 feet over Area 7 at Yucca Flats.

The detonation was observed from a position 36,780 feet south of ground zero. 1,950 Marines from the 1st Provisional Marine Battalion of Camp Pendleton took part in tactical maneuvers during the shot. for your information 112 of the soldiers that participated his shot are still alive.

  • actually it was 1050 feet

  • I have viewed many youtube videos regarding nuclear weapons, and what sets this one apart from all the others is that the film is so honest. In others, the film shows us one thing and the narrator tells us another. This one just gives the raw images...and let's us decide for ourselves. Well done.

  • if te wind is blowing away from them they get no radiation unless their in the direct line of sight of the eplosion and get gamma rays their ok but later on their were a test done that killed some jap sailors and the USA own troops with radiation.

  • why would you drop a nuclear bomb that close to your own troops? they'd get owned by readioactive fallout if not the blast

  • George Bush would.

  • you have to remember when these tests were done, they didnt really know about all the effects yet. these tests were early in the 50s. they needed to be in some kind of radiation suits to avoid contamination, since the area around the blast actually stays hot for about 2 weeks.

  • If you want the best part, skip ahead to 2:50

  • From 2:55 to 3:00 is so sick
