ha i remember having a mean ol crush on dina i think was her name ? right? oh and i so wanted to eat salami after this ! lol man the 90's how i miss thee
I love how these old episodes on nick didnt have any laughing in the background...now, every freakin show has laughing put in and it sucks...i wish i was 10 again
Back in the day, Nick really had great actors for their live action shows. Not saying that the actors they have now suck...but you can't really relate to them at all. These older shows like Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude had believable characters you could relate to. If you think about it, the newer live action shows on Nick are essentially cartoons with real people in them.
Camp was never like this, for me. Well, sort of. We had annoying counselors and were made to do menial tasks that ensured us we'd never break camp etiquette. However, this was filmed in a Park and my camps were in Connecticut, so it wasn't as outdoors-y. I miss camp .
All three of you are right. At one point Michael was an easier target for Budnick because he was easier to get a reaction from. At the other point Budnick also told Michael things he never told anyone which made them closer as friends. So both go to why he could miss him.
I think micahel was a better suited character than pinsky. Once pinsky came there was a bit of an imbalance in the characters. Budnick was already the smartass of the bunch, and pinsky was basically a "good" version budnick. Michael was more of the everyday average nice guy. He fit a lot better with crowd.
@swifi28 yeah. I wonder if the actor regrets not coming back to do the show, or if it was the show's producers who axed him. more importantly, I wonder why the show never came back for a third season?
Nope. When Michael first came to camp, he was an easier target for Budnick's pranks. He did stand up for himself by not only fighting him, but also confessing to the theft of the girls stuff. When Michael leave camp and Ronnie takes his place, he becomes the one thing irritates Budnick the most, a sneaky rival.
i remember this episode teaching me the word "quarantine." lol so many old nickelodeon shows helped me improve my vocabulary..to hell with you sesame street!
@Royberg Haha. Same here. The "Radio-call In" episode taught me that a giraffe's tongue is black and the Bunk-chief episode taught me to avoid cutting onions for long periods of time.
The kid's on his knees telling Ug about his salami. Something wrong there.

@dRuss8706 the poster is trying to get around copyrights because of the song, I assume, as well as the opening credits. I assume this.
