Great review bro and thanks for this upload!! I've been debating on getting this fig but the 8inch scale keeps throwing me off as it won't scale with any of my other figs!! What do you think??

fill the base with cement, nothing else will help hold it down, unless u superglue something but that only lasts for however long u know? but i remember this figure from back then, very nice figure very true. the base is a bit of a disappointment altho if the base does hold, seeing spidey hanging down a light pole thats bending down like putty does seem rather humorous

hey man, great review on the black spiderman figure... I really enjoyed watching it coz I got a lot of those spiderman action figures from cartoons to movies and even got the villians like from the sinister six pack and different kinds of spiderman... keep ti up and I'm sure I'll be watching!

I just opened the regular verson of him and don't know if its normal or not but right above the eyes a couple of the inklines on the webbing are missing but thats a minor thing and doesn't take away the fact that they're really nice figures, also plan on opening black suit and doc ock (yes your review persuaded me to get him) in the next couple of days :)

Looks great man! I have the Spider-Man 3 Version. its awesome is 100% Poss able! but I dont like how the fingers are on him, you can move each one but when you ball them up it doesn't look right

Great review, but I'll correct ya a tad on the BG: The black costume was a result of the Secret Wars (Peter picked up the symbiote during the first Secret Wars), the second black suit was actually a sewn version that he wore. (80's era, not current era for those reading this). As for the toy, best thing for a pose is to get some yarn, fasion a webline out of it and the "Hang upside down" on the end of it. ;)

Nice review. The black suite in Secret Wars IS the Venom Symbiote though. I don't remember how it came to be on that Battleworld place but that's where Spidy picks him up. It's always ticked me off how Marvel has changed up the Venom origin so much over the years that the original continuity is either lost or mixed up.

WOW! this figure looks amazing! I might want this for christmas. Actually Shawn you got some things mixed up about the costume origin. Spidey needed a suit in the secret wars because his red and blue one got blasted up, so he thought about what he wanted went to the machine and a little black ball came out. After a while he went to go see Reed Richards and THEN found out it was alive. After getting rid of it, he realized he loved the design so he made a fabric version. Not the other way around.

Yes, he wore the black suit to take revenge on the Kingpin after Aunt May was shot, so just at the tail end of Civil War.
