Has Kirk ever heard of the word mutation? if an animal adapts say a foot to be webbed for swimming I suppose Kirk would simply divide all the organisms into two groups: non-webbed and webbed. Then he would assert his definition of those two groups based on where he has divided them up. this is what he would call microevolution when in reality EVERY person organism and fossil is a transitional organism.
Life began in the sea and it still shows. No life that I can of off the top of my head gives "dry birth." The reptiles and birds (who had the common ancestor of dinosaurs) both have young develop in eggs. Even mammals have our young develop in the womb which is also filled with liquid.
As far as transitional species go we still have the monkey tail bone but no tail. Whales went from the sea to land (common ancestor with hippos) then back to sea. They have hip bones but no legs to prove it.

I don't think Kirk here realizes that he was just taught exactly how evolution works about 3 times... the reason he doesn't comprehend how it works seems to be his limited knowledge on reproduction (thank goodness yet sadly it seems biology wins in this part and provides him with enough knowledge on how to stick his junk in a hole) he doesn't comprehend the idea that you need to have a child for there to be genetic change and thereby evolution. Comparing the tree of life to a family tree is a nice analogy, but it has its limitations and is misleading. And yes, the host is annyoing, somebody should tell him to shut up and let people finish a statement before announcing he doesn't understand it.

Has Kirk ever heard of the word mutation? if an animal adapts say a foot to be webbed for swimming I suppose Kirk would simply divide all the organisms into two groups: non-webbed and webbed. Then he would assert his definition of those two groups based on where he has divided them up. this is what he would call microevolution when in reality EVERY person organism and fossil is a transitional organism.

Life began in the sea and it still shows. No life that I can of off the top of my head gives "dry birth." The reptiles and birds (who had the common ancestor of dinosaurs) both have young develop in eggs. Even mammals have our young develop in the womb which is also filled with liquid.
As far as transitional species go we still have the monkey tail bone but no tail. Whales went from the sea to land (common ancestor with hippos) then back to sea. They have hip bones but no legs to prove it.

Every single human alive have at least 60 genetic abberations from their parents. Everybody! But those evolutionary changes are so subtle that we can still mate and reproduce. The process is so slow that we could still mate with ancient Egyptians. But we could not mate with early humans from 500,000 years ago. There is a tipping point where speciation occurs.

My question is that if there are so many transitional fossils that exist then why haven't scientist been able to find the factor in our bodies that contribute to the so called reality of evolution? Why has evolution stopped perhaps? Is it still at work? Why is there no current as in happening right now evidence in the labs or in nature!!??

PS the factor I'm looking for in a gene, a protein , an enzyme that works inside to bring about those outwardly changes. So what agent/ thing is presently at work changing to produce organisms in some billions of years?

Have them write it down then whisper that phrase into the next person's ear. Repeat this cycle. See if that original phrase that you whispered is still word for word identical. And please, try and gather a group of 10 people at least for this little exercise. This is what has been done to the bible over a much larger scale. God's word? Not anymore.
