If you go mid July the bugs are not so bad and the Canoing Missiniabi Cree have usually cleared all the portages

When we did the Missinaibi we sailed from Coal River all the way to Bushy Island.

Missinaibi river is so beautiful! Last summer at the camp I go to, my tripping group and I paddled the missinaibi river from Missinaibi Lake all the way up to James Bay. Mattice was our halfway point. We camped at Thunderhouse Falls on one of our nights too!! It's so sweet to see it all again!!

its nice to see some videos on missinaibi river me and some of my family memebers go fishing up missinaibe from moosonee after the rivers break up.the fishing on the missinaibi river is pretty nuts when the river is high.we can go as far as bells bay.anyways looks like u guys had some fun,i would like to paddle down some time from where u guys did.
