The Bush administration handed over to the Iraqi insurgent leaders billion of dollars in exchange for the temporary truce and hold their support for al Qaeda fighters there. of course there isnt any "progress" within Iraqis "government" because they're playing us for fools. The only reason we want a secure Iraq is so we can have their oil so the Iraqis know that as long as there's chaos then America cant start drilling. So they will continue to allow chaos to happen because thats whats keeping America from being able to start pumping out the oil in a safe situation. simply put, Chaos in Iraq will continue until America leaves without the oil.
