  • Everybody gets the runs.

  • everybody runs.

  • Would someone like to tell me what happens to people who commit a pre-crime? It looks like they're restrained and maybe mind-controlled. Does anyone know?

  • @xander7ful They get a 'halo' placed on their heads that, as far as I can ascertain, sedates them - they are unable to move or shout, but are still totally conscious. Hence the guy who watches over them says "they look so calm, but in here (points to his head) they're constantly going".

I guess it's like they're imprisoned in their bodies and then stored away...

  • again, anyone knows the name of the music?!

  • @khaledsmash Its by E.S. Posthumus.

  • @DivineYourMind thankssssssssssss.....the name plz :D

  • the present court system today where victimless crimes go punished by the state due to undisclosed contracts in admiralty courts. the biggest scam in the world, modern day slavery where ignorance is bliss.wake up !

  • @starseedwarrior They DID change it, by preventing the murders, before they took place...kinda. The thing is that the precogs maybe seen one possible outcome of the future. The future is not set, it can change.

  • @rageagaintstheNWO No they didn't change it. The future is set. The future of someone who COULND'T kill someone because they already arrested him, is a guy who doesnt kill anyone. If they could see the future and saw him killing someone, he would have killed someone because thats the future. If you know what someone is going to do in the future, there is no way he can change that because you saw him doing that in the future.

  • @Secret5964 I always thought there is a coherent way to board seeing the future, is what I call a "If I didn't" future. It's a conditional prediction about what would happen if the predictor didn't speak about it. I think this is pretty much what Precogs do: What they show is the future in case they didn't transmit such information. Of course, from the moment it's transmitted, the future diverges but their job is done.

  • @falcord #1

In my way of thinking, it's like this: if you saw yourself on the split of a road and you must choose between right and left, and if you choose left, you can't go to right. Because you saw yourself going to left. If you go to the right then, you should have seen yourself going to the right. This is the same with the crimes in this movie. What the people in these movies do is seeing what COULD happen if they didn't arrest him first.

  • @falcord #2

But the thing is: what COULD have happened, DIDN't happen. They saw what could have happened, but this isn't equal to seeing the futur. This means, they can only see the consequences of not getting the criminal in time. They can see consequences, not the futur. If they would see the futur, they would see someone who gets arrested and doesn't kill anyone.

I think you need to agree with me, no?

  • @Secret5964 well they do see teh future. exept its changed once they find out what it is

They do see what would have happened, so in preventing the crime the system is perfect. But the downside is that since the crime is prevented, they never end up commiting the crime and so they are guilty for something they never end up doing

  • @NewlycelebritiesTv # 1

Lol no that's the whole point: you can't change the future. If you see yourself in the futur, going to the left, you will go to the left, because that's what you are going to do. Seeing the future = seeing what you WILL do in the future. You can't change something you WILL do.

  • @NewlycelebritiesTv # 2

They can see consequences, things what COULD happen in the future, but they can't see the future. Like I already said: the future of someone who gets arrested before he killed someone, is a man who didn't kill anybody. If his future would be 'someone who killed someone else', he would have killed someone. They can only see consequences, not the real future.

  • @Secret5964 well its a movie, and in the movie they do see the future. Movies are never fully technical

Anyways in real likfe it could be like they saw the future of a different reality. because the moment u see the future u can change it, and once you change it its no longer the same reality, so your right that they wouldnt comit the crime cause now its a different reality. Each reality with its own consequence

But since its a movie, its simpler. They see the future and it can be changed

  • @NewlycelebritiesTv Yes it is a movie, and yes they make (a lot) mistakes in movies. But don't say they can see the future AND change it, because thats a false statement.

Seeing the future = seeing what you will do in the future. If you say you can change the future, you state that people can change decisions they yet need to make (because it is in the future). But that's completely idiotic. If you didn't do something, you can't change it before you have done it. Right?

  • @Secret5964 thats right, but i dont think they took that into account in the movie

And actualy not right necessairily. Ur only thinking of 1 theory. But when u take the theory of different realities into account, u can see the future and change it. Because u can see ur future and change it, exept it becames a different reality, you just slip open two universes

Thats a real theory, so prove them wrong

  • @NewlycelebritiesTv You don't need to disprove a theory if there is no evidence for the theory, so i'm not going to try to disprove the theory you gave me.

So why do I think my theory is correct? Because it's the most logical theory. Different universes and dimensions haven't been proven yet, so I don't accept it as the truth. Until the time your theory is proven, I think it's the best to accept my theory. Don't you agree? It would be the most logical I think.

  • @Secret5964 lol its not my theory

But either way, time travel and predicting time in the first place is also something that is not proven either so... either theory is pure speculation

  • @NewlycelebritiesTv I know it's not your theory but it would be to lang to call it 'the theory which states there are a lot of universes'.

I don't think time travel is possible. But I think every logical person who thinks about what I say, needs to agree with mee. You can't change things you haven't yet done, so you can't change the future.

  • @Secret5964 u cant change things u havent done yet because normaly u dont know about it

but if someone were to tell u what u were gona do... u could change it... but then if you change it how can u have seen that future? thats why in real life this movie could never make sence

Both your theory and my theory in practical terms are impossible pretty much... so... neither of us are wrong or right

  • @NewlycelebritiesTv # 1 No you can't change it, you see, that's your mistake. You say you can change things you haven't done yet. But that's impossible you see... If someone told you you were going to do something, and if you do something else, you never intended to do what that guy told you you were going to do.

  • @NewlycelebritiesTv # 2 E.g: someone tells me i'm going to paint my house in blue. You say you can change that decission, but i haven't made it yet so i can't change it. If i choose to paint it in white, the guy was wrong. I didn't change my mind, you can only change your mind if you already have done something. But that's the point of the future: you can't change it because it hasn't happened yet.

  • @Secret5964 well looking at it that way yes... but it all depends on what you consider future doesnt it?

If these concequences they can see is the concequense that was on route to happen if notinh was said, then that concequence is what the future would have been, and by chaning that "concequence" you just prevented something that would otherwise have happened

Considering that would have been the future u can say u changed it

But if u dont consider that the future then no. depends

  • @NewlycelebritiesTv But thats the thing. If you did something to prevent something in the future (like preventing someone killing someone else), and if you saw him killing someone, the future wasn't correct. You always see what you are going to do in the future. So if you prevent something in the future, the future actually says nothing happens (because you prevented it). You didn't change the future, the future always was 'nothing happens'. They can only see consequenses.

  • @Secret5964 i dont know, i think ur over analyzing... Again this is just a movie... i dont think they sat down for 2 with scientists arguing over time theories and time lups etc

Its probably as simple as they predict the future so u can prevent it.

Theres no way to know how it would work in real life because its never been tried, and what ur telling me is just a theory... But even if it was fact, this is still just a movie and doesnt have to be 100% realistic

  • @NewlycelebritiesTv I completely agree with you... It's just a movie. I don't give commentary on the movie, because that's just stupid... it's a movie so for fun.

I was giving commentary to people who actually believed this could happen. I saw some people who were searching for explanations to prove the movie isn't wrong.

BTW I know what I say is just a theory, but I think its the most logical one. You can't change the future because you can't change things you haven't done yet.

  • @Secret5964 lol really? the way u were talking to me the whole time i thought u were commenting on the movie

But yes the movie is just a movie so they keep it simple, u can predict the future and change it. Movies can be that simple if they dont wana get too technical

As for real life, i dont support any theory cause all of it is based on speculation

Ive actualy heard the full explanation of being able to change the future and it made scence also. but it cant be proved so whatever

  • @Secret5964 That is part of the premise of the movie, actually. This principle is related to how the system is abused to frame someone for murder.

  • @JLS639 Ok.. But what has that to do with the discussion?

  • is a shame that never happened in this movie tv.

  • The Island awaits you!

  • @southport97 i don't think so :S

  • the name of the music plz! :S

  • Trailer isn't very convincing for me

  • @KrimpenDrummer

It's not a very good trailer, but then again, it's only a teaser trailer, they would have played a better one when it was coming out in theaters soon.

It is a fairly good movie overall.

  • @RDMNC aaawwww did the movie confuse your little brain ? Im sorry . Here, go and watch some transformers.
