I was just trying to give my honest opinion. In lower level games they teach you to put the ball out, but at higher levels I noticed players either hung on to the ball or passed back to the goalie.

This of course is not done when surrounded by a million and one players.

I played soccer ever since I met a soccer ball, played 4 high school years in the school team and the coach team we had were the greates.. One thing that they used to teach us its "not to pass it back to the keeper" because you're giving the other team a chance to score.. I used to be a goal keeper and always hated it when they pass it to me with 3 or 4 other player coming after it.. You see the picture?.. Kick it as far forward as you can, pass it to the sides or just throw it out...

wrong! never pass it back to your goalkeeper at all times. your goalkeeper its behind you and you don't know if he/she is thinking on doing something.. Thats why you're a defender, to defend and give the goalkeeper time to come out with something for him/her to do their job.. Plus you don't know what your goalkeeper is seeing infront, sides or behin you. Keep in mind you might even compromise your goalkeeper and team by doing that. where did you learn how to play soccer dude?
