There's a crane anywhere in the middle of the city. From up there you can shoot the helis and the cops on the ground and they can't do anything. I wish I could remember where that crane was. I did some missions for a guy in a building next to the crane.

This is ok.I go into this large apartment building park a car at the bottom ake the staircase to the top snipe a bunch of people eventually police work there way up wich you can have a bad ass shoot out lots of cover and only one entrance they come from then you gotta fight the chopper as well eventually I play to work my way back to the bottom fighting hordes of swat coming up get in my car and see if I can evade with no cheats ITS FUN

Yeah you should try it i wish I could pin point the exact building i do this at...its a large 40 story like building looks like a X on the upper left corner of the middle island and thers like 3 of the same building in the ghetto and theirs a park out front . you use this building in one of the missions as well

If you want a really a good shootout spot then go to the docks (in Alderney) and look around for an unlocked shipping crate (look around the big ships because they've just been loaded off). When you find one, go inside and go to the back. They're indestuctible and there's cover on all sides including the top, so helicopters can't shoot you and police, FBI and S.W.A.T can only come in the way you did (a small opening at the front). I lasted for over two hours and only died because I surrendered!!
