My sister who is deaf had to have this done. Not only is she deaf but apparently color blind as well and was in shock when we told her she was using a PURPLE pencil to color in her brows! She had them tattooed a week later and loves them.

It 's something I would pass on if its for a 17 year old new to make up. It has mostly bold colors. I would get her an eyeshadow trio that has more neutral colors and a pinky/peach lipgloss and blush as a lil starter kit. Happy Holidays! xxG

By what exactly were you put off when you saw before and after of a permanent lip liner?

Um...well for startes, I dont like the look of lined lips without lipstick or gloss so I think if I had done it, it would bother me to no end at night when I took my make up off and was left with only an outline around my mouth. You have to go multiple times to get it to stay and I dont think its worth the money or the pain. xxG

Will it look like a harsh obvious tattooed lipliner? I thought the tattoo lipliner matches the colour to the lips but slightly concentrated color and blended in, 'defined but not lined' look, so dat it will make them appear fuller and more shaped?

They didn't look fuller to me and I def saw the outline was not the same shade as the natural lip color. You can google before and after permanent lipliner pics so you can see what I mean. ; )

No, you do not shave the brow. You can draw them on in the shape that you want them. They tattoo over that and then you can pluck (or wax) whats left.

I think permanent tattooing can be a great asset if done right and yours looks amazing! When I worked at MAC, one of the other girls who worked with me did permanent tattooing and I was always fascinated by it all. You're too brave! lol
