Stolen ok-actual damage has been done but unregistered is a political "crime"-e.g.-it only exists on paper.

I love how people think this is invasion of privacy. I shows that those people know nothing about the constitution, laws,what police do or their own rights. For anyone who doesn't know, this technology does the exact same thing as an officer can do. It just makes it faster and more effective. The people who B#(%# are the same people who are saying that the police don't do their jobs when their own car gets stolen or their hose gets robbed or they get smashed into by a suspended driver.

I agree with you 100%. After all, your license plate number is public and everyone can see it, as well as the VIN number. I mean, it's not like you have your bank account or social security number displayed for all the world to see. Hey, I saw a white 2009 dodge ram with plates that said "U.S. Government", then the plate number, and at the bottom it said "For official use only" Does this make it a real government vehicle, because it didn't look like one to me, but just an everyday car.
