Hi the record was approved and certified by guinness and was included in the 2007 guinness book of records. the current record however is from the greeks of melbourne australia with over 1200 dancers. the google record probably was not approved because there are certain guidelines which dancers must follow suc h as syncronisation etc. thie record was on the beach and was one of the bese experiences we had. this year we will try tobreak it with a goal of more than 1500 dancers

Sorry people - Google set a record in Greece in September '08 with 850+ people. You're WAY off.
