  • ive never airbrushed before but im very interested in starting what is a cheap spray gun you would recomend ..im mainly interested in helmets and vehicles

  • cheap spray gun or airbrush?

Paasche VL, Iwata Eclipse BCS, Iwata HP-CS any of those are reasonable price good airbrushs

  • i just picked up the iwata eclips hp-cs, i love it. it was 180. with some paint, the lube, and tool oh and the evaporator for water but i must say, i have used a snap on and blue point which is snap on but different size, i love the hp-cs. its really a nice spray and great control...i like what this guy did with the helmet, i paint cornhole boards and other items but mainly the boards, its great for medium and small size projects

  • great interesting work..can you please explain the process of getting that real high shine finish to your helmets, im getting good , but i want high gloss finish...and what clear coat brand do you use. cheers friend...tim england.

  • Tim It's House of Kolor UC 35 clear

  • Don - great videos. I love seeing how different ideas are done. That swivel stand needs a little oil.

  • Thanks Dave I know sound pretty bad, sorry about that. It sounds much worse on the tape than in person but I will dif oil it.

  • Once again, great video! One quick question, after you put on your clear after the base, do you sand down the clear to get your gloss finish then airbrush on top. Or just clear, airbrush, clear, buff?

  • clear, let it cure, wet sand 600 or 800 grit, clean the surface, add artwork, sometimes apply sg100 depending on the artwork, clear for final time
