Oops!! Seemingly dry and hard surface turns out to be tricky sometimes. Happened with me once in Nevada and I had an empty flatbed. Long ago though. Have always been concious of not getting onto unpaved surfaces, unless there are other trucks (in good un-stuck condition). How much tow-out cost ? Sorry for the mess.

how come you rigmaster is mounted so low, we usally mount them up behind the left hand side of the sleeper. We don't have them for heat here though only A/C and they're called icepacks. don't often sink in mud like that it's mainly just sitting on top and spinning just like ice

That shit happens to the best of us. I was up in Oregon and I wasn't paying attention one morning trying to find a customer. Well I was delivering to a nursery, so i had trees and plants in the box, very VERY heavy. I was fatigued and frustrated been driving all night,couldnt find the place and was getting turned around, wasnt watching my trlr and next thing i know tandems in the ditch. My wagon came very close to tipping over right onto a telephone pole. I was VEEERY lucky. No damage. Whew!

my dad has a kenworth with a 460 witha super 10 3 stage jake dual stacks he has gotten that truck stuck more times than i can count and he always gets it out without calling some one

He he, I did that once in Genesseo, NY when I pulled off at a small truck stop in a nasty freezing sleet storm in February. The edge of the packed gravel wasn't marked under the snow, and my steers went off into the grass and my front end sank so low my fuel tanks were sitting on the ground!

how come you rigmaster is mounted so low, we usally mount them up behind the left hand side of the sleeper. We don't have them for heat here though only A/C and they're called icepacks. don't often sink in mud like that it's mainly just sitting on top and spinning just like ice

That sucks. I got stuck in mississippi mud turning arround. It looks hard. You see tracks, but from cars. Then the rig just sinks.

just after the fast thaw in the spring the ground was very soft (wasnt the first truck that week to do that!!!) I was trying to turn afound and at the last second realized I wasnt going to make it, and down I went

That sucks. I remember back when my dad used to use the roll off, we got stuck like that a lot.The problem with the roll off is that it didnt give traction to the truck, which is why would dig ourselves in..
