Saw the banner for this program going up last week as I dropped my 5 year old at summer day camp at Valley Plaza Rec. Center. Couldn't help but think of Victory-Valley Child Care being shut down and how there wasn't money to keep THAT program going. Hope it's worth it for the teens. :(

For the sake of the children being affected, please take this program to another rec. center that would benefit more from it! I am a parent and coach at the park, as well as the President of the Park Advisory Board. Parents of these children are willing to pay for their kids to play... They do not want to go to another rec. center. Unfortunately they are being told they cannot participate! Your attention to this matter is urgently needed!

Valley Plaza Park in North Hollywood was recently selected as a SNL sight... SNL is a great program but you failed to do any research on how many children normally participate at this park! Because of this program nearly 100 children will be turned away from participating in activities they would have normally due to the limited number of participants allowed by your program! I thought this program was supposed to help get kids out of the street, not turn them away to the street? 100 kids 1 park
