Political Correctness is no different than religious fundamentalism. It is designed to shut down free thought and demonize opposition.
If you're an obediant PC drone you're an angel. If you ACTUALLY USE critical thinking skills in any way shape or form to disagree or DISOBEY with political correctness you're the devil.
It's the whole good vs evil paradigm. Very tolerant!
He was a very elocuent guy, u have no right to unsult him only because u r khazar...aboriginal people had been murder cos the khazars known today liek jews....
All people should be allowed to say whatever they think about history without fear of persecution by the state.
The true facts always stand up on their own merits. If you have laws to ban certain views, it just makes most people think that there may really be something to hide!
Events such as Dresden and Hiroshima are thorny ones. It seems to me that the only way that anything meaningful can be learnt from them (aside from the puerile `war is bad') is to discuss them. Some people will be offended. As long as the discussion is constructive and rational then that seems to be far better than hiding from history.
It's a shame that Canuckstan isn't more resistant to the US political correctness nonsense. I thought you guys were a bit more sensible than that ;o)
