Funny, how many ppl discuss human rights here but seems to have something against a person because she defends animals rights! In my mind, she never said something against humans but made the choice to defend animals. How is that bad for human rights?
Love Pink! Many songs, fan of black metal but many of her songs helped me when i grew up realizing my parents life together was not as beautiful as i thought.:( She's a really deep song writer.
I am 55 and I love PINK. From her first song I felt like this person knew me and was speaking for me. Talented, she isn't full of bullshit, and I am so glad that she hasn't sold pictures of her daughter to mags like most of those idiots. I pity anybody who goes near that child.

There are so many things that are wrong in our world and so many problems that need to be dealt with. One person can NOT fix them all. We need many different people to fight for many different causes and if that's what Pink decided to defend, then so be it. And btw, she has already spoken against abuses (like child prostitution for ex.) many times.

Actually not's true. Garbage, Fiona Apple and Tori Amos were all nominated for multiple grammies back in the day. But I agree with you on your point. Except Pink never even pretended to be a "rock star". She makes pop music and she happily admits it, hence giving her credibility against her contemporary "pop puppet" alas Lavigne or Amy Lee.
Not to mention, there's nothing wrong with pop music, as long as it's inspired.

Im a big fan of PINK and if people can think what people want to think and at the end of the day we're all different. Yes, PETA does shoot themselves in the foot time and time again, but I don't think you can discredit all of the organization... They do great work to. They raise awareness. Whether it from hill-billy fucks who take there aggression out on defenseless, fully sentient pigs and cows or throwing red paint on these rich cunts fur coats. Being vegan is simply stance one could take to show their support for the fight against ignorant killings of harmless farm animals. I'd love to hear back from you.

The tone of her voice and choice of words clearly indicate that she is not recognising varying degrees of opinion; shes stating that Peta, and their methods, gain legitimacy because of their effectiveness, whatever they may be. "If we have to issue death threats or commit arson, thats ok as long as we save that rodent!" That's the thrust of the quote I highlighted. She offers no insight at all and appears to speak from a position of total ignorance; perception is reality, and I percieve a moron.
