well, actually, i won this battle in three turns. i gave ike wratrh and adept. almost every time, adept activated, then black knight used luna. that made wrath activate. :3

I was finally able to defeat Zelgius today.

It started really bad though. First turn, Zelgius goes with eclpise right away, and Ike always just hit normal attacks, and 2 turns before Nasir stepped in I got angry and attacked Zelgius in my turns instead of healing Ike. It worked out well^^

last turn before Nasir stepped in, Ike 3 HP, Zelgius 42 HP. I attacked him and I was pretty sure I had to reset the game after this battle and what happened? Ike killed Zelgius with Aether^^

Awesome battle. I just started a playthrough of Radiant Dawn :D. I always thought Ike looked so much more in a better term BADASS in Path of Radiance, I'm not sure why though lol. He's almost too ripped in Path of Radiance.

More or less, after he gets the Aether ability chances are you will very rarely see criticals anymore (my case at least) and see Aether pretty often actually, it pretty much replaces the critical.

No no man! Roy is the good guy in one of the games and yeah he's in some way a Marth clone although they're not related at all. Dunno about where 2 find this game, look 4 ur closest store or check local internet selling sites, that's how I bought some games and other stuff. Hope u have luck.

When I played on him I had to run because I didn't have Mist's job upgrade to valkirie so when the mages that come and heal Black Knight I had to run because : A:I couldn't dodge ANY if his attacks. and B: I never hit aether so I didn't get bonus heal.

Yeah exactly, Aether is an item you get earlier in the game, and without it, you need one hell of a luck to kill him. There's 3 Aethers in case you missed one, one you really should give to Ike and the rest to anyone else you want, but I would start looking for them if you missed them.

no its not called aether its called an occult scroll it teaches ike aether and can be found only 3 times in the game if you got stefan and let him teach ike sword play you can get one and i think one of them is found in a chest i'm not sure where the last one is

actually there r 4 in the game...

1. Chapter 13: The top left chest on the Map.

2. Chapter 16: Talk to Stefan on the INFO at Base if you recruited him

3. Chapter 21: Recruit Tauroneo or Steal it from him.

4. Chapter 27: Beat the boss.

well, now that u hav an occult, at base go to "manage" and the skills, give when ur choose skills for ike there should be one called aether now which takes 20 spaces

it's not there and my ike has all 25 spots on him but when I remove then the skills are gone what happened and where is it. I have tauroneo but nowhere do i have one a skill called aether

It's called an Occult, give it to Ike and it transforms into Aether.

Well, try to find an occult then. I'll give you a hint, in chapter 13 (if I remember well) you can find 1 easily.

13 has one in a chest. the desert level get Stefan with Lethe or Mordecai and talk to him at base and he`ll give ya one Tauroneo also has one if u recruit/steal it from him. Hafedd has the last one but that makes no diff.

Exactly, but I wanted him to just beat the game with the chapter 13 one and the find the rest by himself, so it doesn't ruin the experience.

It's an item you give to Ike, then he uses it as some kind of stronger/updated Critical with luck.

did you have max health, strength and aether cause if you did then you should have no problem fighting him hust hope you get to use aether beacause it cuts through his defense and also heals you

lol, this battle's pure luck, if the Black Knight misses and you land a "critical" (actually it's a special kind of ability you can give your main character) called Aether, the battle is pretty much already won.
