Even the UN, Compassion for World Farming, and many scientists know this. If the world were all vegetarian, we would not have world hunger.

The pH of our blood, saliva and stomach, the length of our stomach, our sleeping patterns, our life expectancies, our teeth.... are all very herbivore-like. It's been shown that we aren't exactly meant to eat the crazy amounts of meat that we do. It's just really bad for us. Even more simple- meat is full of saturated fats. Bad for our bodies!

On this Christmas day my heart goes out to the billions of animals enslaved by mankind, the 1000s been slaughtered for food and any other animals undergoing exploitation and struggling to survive (this includes humans). The trailer didn't give any info about the movie at all - I thought it was poorly done, in that respect. I agree with you, but i think it is also really important to understand where the meat comes from. At animal farms, animals are faced with terrible conditions. Although they are intended for slaughter, the conditions they live in prior to that is disgusting. I honestly think that being a vegetarian will not solve animal abuse problems at all. The best thing that will do for the earth is help marginally with global warming.

I went from vegetarian to 100% vegan after forcing myself to watch this movie. I think I cried for a week after watching it and to this day, I still vividly remember what I saw.

@mtnd00 Not necssarily. Hunting can bring down a species entirely depending on the situation. And quite dangerous for our pampered lives. But have you seen the population for certain species in South America? Several goats are almost extinct because people cannot afford to buy their food.

@KitKat1395. We have a lot in common with carnivores and omnivores too. Pig teeth are almost identical to human teeth. Our bodies cannot digest cellulose. As for the statistics, meat is a scapegoat there. We are not fit to consume TOO MUCH meat. We can consume meat though. A plant-based diet in humans is only a modern thing - as recent as 100 years ago, it would be next to impossible, and unhealthy, to live on a plant-based diet.

Look at chimpanzees, for instance, when another tribe steps foot on their land they chase them off, and despite gender, kill them, rip them apart, and eat them. Human beings can be cruel. So i heard a little about this film and wanted to see a trailer to get an idea of it. However IMO this trailer is awful. It doesn't really show anything about the movie and while I had some interest in the movie before after this trailer I am definitely not watching it since this is the only trailer there is and I don't want to watch the movie without a better idea of what exactly is happening in it.

Now Cancer is different because there are many types. But remember Heart Disease is another negative effect of Meat (since the Body can't necessarily digest meat so you know what's next).

@LatinoHeatMexico I get plenty of calcium from my vegatables and vitamins and the reason colon cancer arises is due to intake of heterocyclic amines which are present in highly cooked meat. I usually eat a ribeye at rare or medium rare so this is not a problem and if I do get cancer I can cure it easily with laetrile or B-17 therapy. im pretty sure the reason red meat statistics show this is because they use the statistics of non organic meat in their studies. you should do non biased research.
this documentary isn't about eating meat or not, it's about the ignorance of us human beings. To make the connection that nature, animals and humans all have a right to live on this earth, and have a right to move away from self distruction and charish self preservation. Humans beings as a single species, takes away that freedom from animals, and nature alike. If we become less ignorant, then our individual passion for the other earthlings could one day help them.

On this Christmas day my heart goes out to the billions of animals enslaved by mankind, the 1000s been slaughtered for food and any other animals undergoing exploitation and struggling to survive (this includes humans). Although they are intended for slaughter, the conditions they live in prior to that is disgusting. I honestly think that being a vegetarian will not solve animal abuse problems at all. I went from vegetarian to 100% vegan after forcing myself to watch this movie. I think I cried for a week after watching it and to this day, I still vividly remember what I saw.
I felt the pain of those animals, I felt disgusted of myself and the entire human race. It's very sad, but it must be watched! :(

Meat is vital to survival. It is much cheaper to get than tofu, and is organic. Hunting is also a more viable method of population control and damage control. It is also cheaper than the alternatives, such as fences along roadways, which would cost billions.

As for the statistics, meat is a scapegoat there. We are not fit to consume TOO MUCH meat. We can consume meat though. A plant-based diet in humans is only a modern thing - as recent as 100 years ago, it would be next to impossible, and unhealthy, to live on a plant-based diet.

How is blood, Tissue, Veins, Skin etc (on top of the fact that it's a dead animal) any different from "non-organic"---are you saying that there's such a thing as "organic roadkill"?
And no, "Organic Meat" basically means that the Animals are "raised humanely" but then they're sent to the Slaughterhouses where they suffer the same cruel, unsanitary death. And no, "Organic Meat" has roughly the same negative effects on the human body--> cancer, osteoporosis, etc.

@LatinoHeatMexico organic means more than humanely, it means no artificial items no hormone injections or anyother of that filth. it is healthy and causes none of those effects only meat that isn't would cause that as toxic substances are in them. cancer is a lack of a certain enzyme that keeps the healing process in line. osteoporosis is a lack of calcium how would non toxic protein cause that?

@avenger391482 Oh yeah, that too....okay, when Meat (regardless of whether its organic or nonorganic) enters the human body it makes the blood and tissues acidic which is neutralized by Calcium (there's only one source of calcium in your body...Bones) that's the First Grade explanation of Osteoporosis.
Now Cancer is different because there are many types. But remember Heart Disease is another negative effect of Meat (since the Body can't necessarily digest meat so you know what's next).

@LatinoHeatMexico it seems all you need is a balanced diet to conteract this. you should have a mostly vegitarion diet but don't exclude meat entirely.

@avenger391482 I don't know about you, but I need my calcium in my bones, and I sure as hell don't want Colon Cancer (major cause: Hot Dogs) and I don't want to die from Heart Disease. So enjoy your "balanced diet"

@LatinoHeatMexico I get plenty of calcium from my vegatables and vitamins and the reason colon cancer arises is due to intake of heterocyclic amines which are present in highly cooked meat. I usually eat a ribeye at rare or medium rare so this is not a problem and if I do get cancer I can cure it easily with laetrile or B-17 therapy. im pretty sure the reason red meat statistics show this is because they use the statistics of non organic meat in their studies. you should do non biased research.

this documentary isn't about eating meat or not, it's about the ignorance of us human beings. To make the connection that nature, animals and humans all have a right to live on this earth, and have a right to move away from self distruction and charish self preservation. Humans beings as a single species, takes away that freedom from animals, and nature alike. If we become less ignorant, then our individual passion for the other earthlings could one day help them.
