there is nothing funny about joaquin phoenix's interview with david letterman. i felt real pain for the guy. clearly he was out of sorts with himself. why would hollywood and the people who create the oscars make this pathetic sketch mocking a man who is struggling so.i was shocked to see all those hollywood actors laughing at this sketch. imagine if someone they loved was suffering like joaquin phoenix may be, would they be laughing then?shame on the academy awards.....

Look, I have seen almost every movie ever made, being from the X generation where movies were all that seemed to be worth living for in the 80s and 90s. Some I credit with saving my some of my sanity from the obligatory X generation haze, and some movies increased the haze. You note the good ones as you go along and they become part of your life in these less than desirable circumstances and most importantly you know what's funny by the end of it... and I'm sorry but Zoolander wasn't funny!
