@starfaery I think it depends how people approach to each other. Many vegans I met don't force people, they just educate on the cruelty that goes on. The thing is that most of us hate having to tell the truth because in some case there is no nice way to do it. They can educate people but they can't force it on anyone.
I mean I dont hate meat eaters but if you see some rants they go out of hand saying vegans hug trees and swearing a load and its just wrong to say so. the reason why vegans push their views is because they are fighting for the rights of creatures that have no rights. PETA is trying to get people talking about the issue. Does it work? I don't think so, but I don't know. At least people know PETA exists. I'm vegan, I don't think your an immoral person because you eat meat, but I do think eating meat is immoral. But you need a better understanding of vegans before you can hate them.
