We were the car in front of the cherry picker. We drove right through the tornado. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I remember this day. I go on "vacation" once a year. So, I left town and 6 hours later my parents call and say fenton was hit by a tornado!

I remember that day, but that was a weak tornado. Not much different than a derecho event. Fenton lucked out and was spared. Watch the You Tube video "A Kansas Nightmare" and see how lucky you were.

I was almost killed in a train station parking lot when a tornado went through it. We went to a McDonalds to take shelter. Always go to a restaurant because they have the walk in freezers, which are good to take shelter in.

Thank God you weren't hurt. The basement is the safest place to be during a tornado. Don't ignore the sirens or warnings. Take proper shelter.

would have liked to seen it i live in burton. but it was tiny and small, weak tornado. thats a good thing tho. f5 would have destoyed everything in its path...no structures would remain. what was it a f0-f1?
