  • That's cool. They certainly both have their advantages, I'm very happy with how mine works. XJ's rock! :)

  • Nothing flexes like an XJ! I love my '96 XJ Sport! People can keep their IFS; I'll take my straight axle, any day!

  • DAN MICK.

  • Some buddies got me hooked on this in a day lol..

Im getting a cherokee i love the late 80's sqaure look.

There gonna set me up simple to start tho 4.5' / 5' lift Rear diff locker

Front sway bar detacher so i can still have it when on the road.

Then ya who knows.. cant wait .. few months out :p

  • Dan Mick is a bad ass just saying

  • Yes. How do you know that?

  • Do you and your badass Jeeps happen to live in the springs?

  • ok first off what size lift and tires? i wanna go out to moab but i dont wanna be stranded out there haha. 4 inch with 33s ok or go bigger? and that spotter was legit also passenger in white jeep, 1 arm will not hold a jeep from flipping :) just saying ahah

  • ok first off what size lift and tires? i wanna go out to moab but i dont wanna be stranded out there haha. 4 inch with 33s ok or go bigger? and that spotter was legit

  • True that, lol

  • Why would he need to say bad words? He doesn't have to hate himself, he has a jeep, not a hummer.

  • AMAZING SPOTTER!!! got up that perfectly fine!!!

  • qoat unquat"its ok to say any bad words if you need to."

  • nice jeeps! great crawling vid!

  • @MXWJ01 Thank you, were going back in 2 weeks, I'm planning to post more vids!

  • Thank you! Yes, Dan Mick is a great spotter. He is a professional tour guide in Moab, He just happened to show up as we were contemplating the climb. What luck!

  • bad ass xj...hes a good spotter too..looks like fun

  • where did u get the wheels are they real beadlocks

  • They are Poison Spyder Wheels. Yes, they are real bead locks. They are 17X9.5" wheels. Poison Spyder is located in Denver. They can be purchased directly, or through a dealer.

  • @Pikespeak67 thanks man i been lookin for some

  • these XJs looks great. I have also one, but not in such high and professional version

  • Dude did that guy really just reach out the window at 4:33? Holy shit, trying to lose an arm? Sweet video and nice XJs anyways!

  • He dropped his gum and was attempting to retrieve it. We immediately removed his arm, and had no further problems.

  • good no more problems with that pesky right arm...

  • i noticed that too what ann idiot. like he would really be able to hold up the jeep if it did tip

  • Black XJ

  • What kind of front and back bumper does the xj have?

  • Thanks for the inquiry. My friend and I custom made both the front and rear bumpers along with many other parts for the Jeep. You can see more detail on tarantulacustoms. We recently completed a set of rock sliders and front fender flares.

  • Send me a private message with all the specs please =]

  • i love the fab front and rear bumpers. i fabbed my own fender flares last month, they work great!

  • Thank you, We just completed a set of front fender flares as well. Do you have any pictures of them?

  • yes and no. i have pics of my xj on my digital camera but i dont have the cable to put them onto my laptop =/

  • Bummer! Send them to me sometime if you can 8)

  • definitely! i made mine from fiberglass, took me about 3 hours

  • Very nice , love the crawl of them , nice driving style

  • Thanks for the comments.

  • Mind if I ask, how much were the beadlockers a piece?

  • They are Poison Spyder 17" X 9" Bead Locks. They were $350.00 each.

  • Nice, man. You must love 'em when you get up on the side of a rock, huh?

  • I really enjoy wheeling, I finished an 9 month build on this Jeep right before this trip last year. It was our "shake-down" run. I have not been back since. We are planning to return to Moab in May 2010. I recently completed the front fender flares, and several other upgrades. Can't wait to go back!! I scratched 3 of the wheels on the first trip, but I just kept telling myself "this is what I bought them for". LOL.

  • Oh yeah man, scrape 'em up, that's what they're made for!

  • awesome vid and cool music

  • Thank you, we are looking forward to returning.

  • Thanks!!

  • if you want micks number for next time, let me know

  • Thanks for the comments. We are going back to Moab in October. I will be sure to get some more video footage. Moab is an amazing place. I hope you get to come some time. =)

  • love the tune ( zz top )

gr8 looking jeep looks the nut's fella

like the wheel they are the tits fella

gr8 video clips i am a fellow jeeper for the uk

i have a cherokee xj 1998 and it has a 3.5" super flex rubicon lift kits i love it! it twists like a bitch

love to go to moab one day and have a go it looks allot of fun

anyway fella keep the video clips coming

  • What do you think of your 3.5 vs say a 4.5? I want a rubicon system but am desiring 33's with MINIMAL trimming. I've come up with 4.5 RE w/2" BB.. Think 33's will work? say 33x10.5 or 11.5?

    KS 01XJ

  • hello m1brett sorry i been so long to get back

Yes the 3.5" super flex that i have is the nut's and yes it twists like bitch but i wish i went for the 4.5" because i've put 32" tires on my jeep and trimmed the arches to and is still rubs

so my advice to you m1brett is go fore the 4.5" rubicon super flex and the 33" tires

also i,m going up another 2" and them i mite go for 35" tires and some more trimming but that mite be next year

hope thats helped you in your choice of lift from beaverbox

  • dans a great guy. took me through this in his brand new jk with a hemi.

  • Yes he's great. The ironic part was that he just happened to show up when we were scoping out the hill. It was cool to chat with him for a few minutes. We hope to run across him next time we are in Moab.

  • I just buy a XJ 89's, i'll probably put a 8'' and 35'' tires

  • Thank you for the comment. XJ's Rock!!

  • OMG I hope That oneday my xj will be that nice!!

  • great vid looks fun in moab

  • Thank you. Moab is our favorite place to go wheeling. I wish we could go more often....

  • The white one does not really have a "specific" lift. It has parts that were combined together from several lifts. Josh thinks it's somewhere in the 6-7" range. It has 35" tires. I hope this was helpful.

  • what lift does the white one have?

  • Thanks for the comment. Moab is awesome! Dan was great!!

  • i acctually took a tour w/dan as my guide n his white jeep back n sept of this yr...as stated, dan is an extremely nice man...the scenery was breathtakin!!!

  • wat year is the white one and wat size wheels?

  • It's my friends Jeep, I believe it's a 1988. It has 35" tires. If you are wanting the width of the wheels, I could find out. The black XJ has 9" wide wheels, I suspect Josh's Jeep has either 8's or 10's. More than likely 15 X 10".

Let me know if you would like more information and I will ask him.

  • i would love to go to moab in my cherokee one day.

  • Ps.great vid!

  • i got guided by dan mick once with team marlboro,he was amazing nice guy, happy days!

  • Dan's a great guy. Imagine getting to take people four wheeling for a living. Thanks for the comments :-)

  • The black one has a 5.5" Rubicon Long Arm Lift with 33" BFG KM2's, The White one has about a 7" lift with 35" tires.

    Thanks for the comment.

    Greg
