  • Take this time to think of the unfortunate people who didn't get to see the millenium. A once of a lifetime oppurtunity especially people who died in 1999

  • I was 4 when this happened and i cant even remember it.

  • @YangSing1 Just the fact you were here when you were 4 gives you the right to claim you witnessed the new Millennium! It really was a fantastic night and we were in Parliament Square as the clock struck and the fireworks let rip! I took videos and have never uploaded them to Youtube! I must sort that out soon because there aren't as many on as I expected.

  • Ah, the good old days...then 911 ruins everything.

  • I was just 4 days old :)

  • A night i wont forget. It was awesome

  • 3:02 it looked like a bomb went off!

  • @3:30 meanwhile I was sitting in the hospital crying my eyes out because a loved one was dying of cancer. He never made it to 2000.

  • @MW2xxxMW2 No u dont

  • i was 3 at the time. the only thing i remember is my granny telling me 'were starting a new generation' ... quite sad i wish i was there or knew what it was :( a millenium is something that happens once in your life IF your extremely extremely lucky!!

  • Somehow this makes me very sad.

  • I was 11 and don't remember that

  • @GameTrailersHD1 u serious? i was 8 and a half and i remember that night like yesterday! y2k and all that

  • Announcer: "The British say they're going to have a bigger show come midnight than anyplace else in the world... They're going to set of 45 major fireworks every second... you hear the twelve bongs of midnight, and as that begins, the River of Fire will extend right up the Thames river... This should be quite something to see!!" Of course it never happened. The British began the new millennium with a total and typical shambolic failure.

  • I was 7 yrs old, I loved it!

  • It was like this outside my window all along the horizon, the sky was full of thousands of fireworks! I remember thinking to myself "so this is what 2000 looks like"!

  • I was 16 then and watched this with my parents on telly. Weren't we promised a "river of fire" at some point, I seem to remember? Heh. Looks like a back-garden display compared to what they produce now. Maybe I'll get myself down there to see in 2012 :)

  • paris looked like party popers going of under a christmas tree if any thing u should see hogmanay 2010 live its very artistic if u think about it

  • Needless to say, this celebration that took place in London, especially the fireworks display was miles better than Sydney.

  • @johnson9dantheman Agree! London and Paris were the best. London was more mastodont, almost like a war zone; the Eiffel tower was more stylish and inventive.

  • Makes me feel good about my home. :)

  • Love this country.

  • Excellent video. Brings back amazing memories! Thanks for putting it on here.
