Please remember why she sang this song and the way she sang it. She knew her kidnapped son was somewhere in this building. Hitchcock actually films 'her voice' traveling through and up into the floor where he was. Watch and you can almost see the notes rising up the stairs.

Actually that's not accurate, according the Murrary Pomerance and the essay 'The Future's Not Ours to See': Song, Singer, and Labyrinth in HItchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much, Hitchcock greatly approved of this song, it was his producer Herbert Coleman and the composer Bernard Hermann that did not.

It's deffinitely not italien there isn't a form of "essere" (be) which looks like this "sera". It is the spanish future form of "ser" (be) it can't be french even if there is the same "sentence" in french which means the same but because it is pronounced in a different way it can't be french. Now that we solved this mystery enjoy the song ;).
