  • @KoenigKrabumm Im Vietnamese and that not how we sing.

  • @tokizosummer LMAO!

  • @tokizosummer LMAO!

  • Please remember why she sang this song and the way she sang it. She knew her kidnapped son was somewhere in this building. Hitchcock actually films 'her voice' traveling through and up into the floor where he was. Watch and you can almost see the notes rising up the stairs.

Brilliant on both the actors part and the director.

  • This was a really good movie. Doris is my childhood idol! When I was kid people use to tell me I looked like I could have been her daughter! I was so so flattered!

  • STOP SINGING! WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!!!! SHAME ON U!!!

  • Frantic is very similar to this.

  • Hope it's chips it's chips.

  • The Man Who Knew Too Much is a god :)

  • der dislike balken ist wie lady gaga´s penis:

-Klein und sollte nicht da sein!

  • @ChuuLong pathetic!

  • @ChuuLong Geiler Comment ^^ *lachflash*

  • Doris was fantastic in this picture. Especially in the scene where James Stewart drugs her before telling her Hank was kidnapped...

  • tolles lied

  • Ich liebe es, wunderbar!!!!!

  • i love Doris

  • Her acting is heartbreaking. <3

  • this scene gives me goosebumps everytime .. i love Doris Day x

  • Also Pietro hat das aufjedenfall besser gesungen :D

  • @LauraBeautyadorable1 träum weiter -.-

  • Why does she keep repeating the verses in the song. I heard the "teacher" and "sweetheart" verses twice each. If I were in the audience Id' be like, "She's just singing the same thing over and over."

  • Beside Sly, this is the most Beautiful version ever of this song.... hands down Knees down, This is O-Gangster. Respects, To Whom

  • Makes cry every time! Wonderful scene. Even if Hitchcock didn't want either the song or Doris Day.

  • @peteradaniel

Actually that's not accurate, according the Murrary Pomerance and the essay 'The Future's Not Ours to See': Song, Singer, and Labyrinth in HItchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much, Hitchcock greatly approved of this song, it was his producer Herbert Coleman and the composer Bernard Hermann that did not.

  • pietros war besser xD

  • geil

  • Pietroooooooo :)

  • i love her voice. the time when there was no auto-tune and the artists really had to sing

  • I loved this scene.It's wonderful!

  • I love this song. My father sang this to me and now I sing this to my children.

  • very nice ;)

  • Pietro hat's besser qesunqen, sry aber des lieqt warscheinlich daran, dass wir heute auf andere musikstyles steh'n. ♥'

  • @TheLaSerLaDyy Falsch.

  • 21 people knew too little to hit the right button.

Now I have childen of my own...!" OMG. Das hier all time classic. Schaut euch mal den Film an und versteht die Tiefe des Songs.

  • @Scorantesa Are there no words in German for "all time classic"?

  • @BaronVonSchtupp88 Actually, in german we mostly use the anglicism "Evergreen"

  • pietro

  • pietro =)

  • PIETR0 <3

  • Pietros version war so geil!

  • Daumen hoch ewer wegen pietro hier ist !!!!

  • Wunderschön ♥

  • It's deffinitely not italien there isn't a form of "essere" (be) which looks like this "sera". It is the spanish future form of "ser" (be) it can't be french even if there is the same "sentence" in french which means the same but because it is pronounced in a different way it can't be french. Now that we solved this mystery enjoy the song ;).

  • pietro singt es morgen :D

  • PIETRO MACHTS BESSER

  • It's not French; it's bad Spanish OR worse Italian. Look it up in Wikipedia. It was written by an English-speaker who just liked the sound of the words.

  • It's definitely French...

  • Que Será Será

    Nok1a E

  • what means que sera ??

  • @3uscha que sera means whatever will be. I'm not sure but I think it is french or spanish

  • @LaxLazzu

    it's italian

  • @SceneMuffiin ok I didn't knew but I was close! ;)

  • @LaxLazzu

it could be also spanish i think haha :D

  • wonderfullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

  • We're Going to Wembley , Que Sera Sera

  • que sera sera i love this song from wax tailor and this one even more

  • so,hikari darkheart. how would you say it is pronounced if you were an English speaker?

  • Oh God. I will never think of this song in the same way after watching it with CC.

  • Well i be rich, i´m a Bitch ;)

  • DAUMEN HOCH FÜR ALLE DIE WEGEN SUPERSTAR HIER SIND

  • @midofaour

    ich auch :D

  • Pietro ^^

  • @SunSnoopyGirl

"ich hab das lied nicht gekennt!", sagte er xD

    voll geil, seine version ;)

  • I love you Doris~~

  • I recently bought the dvd for this movie and as Usual, Hitchcock was the master of suspense especially during the symphony scene it was 9:30 seconds long with no dialog spoken. BRAVO

  • SUPER---------

  • 13 people missed the button

  • It happens.

  • @troodon311 poor people o.o

  • @MrUranus100 no. 22 people have an opinion

  • @MrUranus100

    unfortunately now it is 23.....

  • @MrUranus100 ,,shit happens!!! ´´ Forrest Gump

  • Oh my gosh, it's like some whole bizarre secret message that has absolutely nothing to do with what they're saying or doing in the video when you apply the CC button. Those poor deaf people are going to get awfully confused when she starts singing "Orwellian ran of the after day, here's what my silly home say. Their a landing who murdered her"

  • I love love this movie!!!! She was just as good at dramatic roles as her cute romance/comedy movies!

  • Beautiful memories of my childhood with this song and this unforgettable film.

  • I love it ,This song and This movie :):*

  • classic! i always knew of the song but didnt know it was from a movie! so is this the original song? was the song written for this movie/

  • This is just my name Sera

  • I must say that her performance in this movie really surprised me. Absolutely wonderful acting (the singing was also - but that's obvious isn't it.)

  • I love Doris Day. She's so beautiful & a wonderful actress

  • The other song in this scene, "We'll Love Again" is the most beautiful song Doris ever did, but you can't find it anywhere.

  • @kingward100 Oh my gosh! Thank you for bringing that up! I've always thought "We'll Love Again" was gorgeous, my favorite, but like you said it's pretty much impossible to find.

  • She is a wonderful woman, why she had so much bad luck in her life?

  • @thegreatsixties - With regards to Mr Melcher, some could argue she brought that particular bad luck on herself. :/

  • OH yea, that's how they found their son. That was so awesome. Loved that movie. I think maybe it was even better than "North by Northwest"

  • supi !!!:-)

  • QUEEE SERAAAAAAAAAAAAAA SERAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • que sera sera

    bastian schweinsteiga

what ever will be will be

    schweini schweini

  • Buy the DVD, if you are too young, or do not remember.

I prefer the 39 steps from Hitchcock.

  • Lyrics -source: Google Transcribing (the CC button): whoa when I was just the little bear I asked my monitor what can I mean well I'm not a deterrent I have a hearing he is what she's saying to me I that on good evening linden If she's not used to seeing case and I'm Anna what do you will see Juan and I think it's not that Japanese I have might see in what and I try he is that aisle and it's like I here
  • @asanny05 Wow that is hilarious. Juan and I think it's not that Japanese. HA. Google fails. She has the clearest voice ever. How could they caption it so wrong?

  • @popfanrockon Don't forget that "little bear I asked my monitor what can I mean".

Whenever I remeber it I keep laughing for an hour. -p.s., Google likes Engrish!

  • The man who knew too much ?

Or the man who had a different opinion ?

And had the integrity to follow it.

With the help of the mother of his son ?

  • One of the best Hitchcock movie ever,

    what a powerful scene

  • what is the name of the evil woman, as an actress?

    i love her!!

  • I cry every time I see this, it reminds me of my grandfather so much.

  • @gusspeaks I am the same and reminds me of mine too...

  • But "que" is pronounced "kay" in Spanish. And this is Spanish.

  • @EnglishTeacherPT

    its french actually (im swiss)

    que sera, sera

    what will be, will be

  • @silexrifl

It's not French (I'm French), but imitation Spanish, according to wikipedia.

In French, it would be "Ce qui sera, sera".

  • @EnglishTeacherPT Actually no.

I'm venezuelan and QUE is not pronounced kay.

  • @HikariDarkheart you're right. i wasn't clear in my comment. "que" is not pronounced "kay " in spanish but the english pronunciation equivalent of "que" is "kay".

  • i heard they made a remake it by miley cyrus

  • I'm not French but que is NOT pronounced KAY. What gives?

  • one of Hitchcock's great films ;)

  • I love this movie and I love Doris Day's voice. My Uncle thought Rosemary Clooney was famous for singing' Que Sera Sera' . I clearly remember "The Man Who Knew Too Much" and he now knows it truly is Doris Day's beautiful voice...This song

has so much hope, love and wisdom...and yet it is a very simple song....words I will always remember...

  • what next? Does the Woman see her son again?

  • Could someone PLEASE send me this song? I love it! *_*

  • 1934 :O

  • love this song

  • where can u watch this movie

  • Theme song of the 1956 movie The Man Who Knew Too Much.............Que Sera Sera is one of my best-loved songs.......

  • It's Alfred Hitchock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1955) and the old guy (James Stewart) was the kid's father. His mother was played by Doris Day (she's singing at the piano). The boy had been kidnapped and taken to this foreign embassy and then ... well, like the man said, you need to see the whole movie to find out what happened next!

  • Only version which isn't blocked in Germany...a SCANDAL...almost all precious music is forbidden at yt for Germany...almost all great labels are blocked...ok...this sequence of the amazing movie is GORGEOUS....nevertehelss i liked to listen the whole song without interruptions... i mean the whole song in one piece....

  • OMG, I haven't seen this in 40 years, and I remember him whistling to get his parents' attention the song like it was yesterday! Thanks so much for uploading. =)

  • This is True

  • ich liebe diesen film!

  • She could really belt out a song!

  • Watch My grandma sing this...

  • It's a beautiful song and all, but I'm really not sure if I can condone Mother's defeatist attitude!

  • people are looking at each other like... why is she screaming...lol

  • @okaysoya She is screaming because she suspects her kidnapped son is in the building, so that he can hear her.

  • just watched the movie today and i loved it!!!

  • singgggggggg

  • I love this song, but i've never seen the movie. Is it worth watching?

  • If you're a fan of Hitchcock's thrillers, I think you'll enjoy this movie.

  • YES...I think this was composed just for the movie

  • I think the first time I heard it was in a TV commercial. lol.

  • Indeed, it won an Oscar.

  • This movie is so awesome

  • This sends shivers down my spine. This was my favourite part of a fantastic movie.

  • @RememberSoCal que séra is spanish -.- and means it comes how it comes

  • @silkker será sry :D

  • It actually only means "how it comes".

"It comes how it comes" would be "será lo que será"

And the " ´ " has to be over the a, not the e. Spanish words are regularly pronounced on the second last syllable. There only is a " ´ " over the pronounced vocal, if the word is pronounced unregular.

  • Excellent!!!

  • shit like this makes me proud to be italian, you can hear the influences.

  • man doris days good

  • Such an emotional scene

  • whatever will be, wil be

  • zu schön

  • I am a man and I always tear up. Doris is a really good actress and Hithcock is the Master of suspence

  • a simple good song

  • I like this song so much!

Ever and ever and ever again...

  • Well, let say you an experience. Yestarday I went with my little son -He´s 7 years old- to my university and he told me he will like be doctor too. I from México City and I´m a doctor, 57 years old. When we were in my car I heared this song with Doris Day and I felt very happy... thank, my name is Rodolfo Gálvez Estrada.

  • I firmly believe that God works so many miracles through children. Usually when something is that much of a coincidence, Means God is sending you a message to ease something in your heart and that Family is the most important thing in the world. No amount of success or money can ever surpassThat feeling inyour heart lsitening to your son tell you in his own way, you are his hero and He wants to do good works in his life like his Dad. Your comment gave me the smile I so needed today. :)

  • Thanks NFitalianGuy. I´m agree with you, my little son is a miracle with his smiles and words. His name is Mario Angel Gálvez Caballero and I´m proud with him.

Your comment gave me a smile too. I´ll say that to my son. Send you a thank from México City.

Yesterday I send you a answer, but I don´t see it now.

  • good song

  • Brilliant :-)

  • Have you people notice that the song in the movie has a verse more than the song apart of the movie??? in here there's a part where she says she asked her teacher and when you look for the song it has three verses the one of the mother, the sweetheart and the children but no teacher, has anyone an idea of why does this happen??

  • Momento mágico. Clímax supremo deste grande filme "O homem que sabia demais" de Alfred Hitchcook. Um pouco envelhecido, mas grandioso mesmo assim.
