@unicorngoblin you will like it there, when you get a chance go down hwy 49... you will pass a stand called the red shack that sits on a switch back in the road. right across from it is a dirt turn out with a stone plack on it. this area is all blm land and is open to prospecting . the hike down is great and steep, but be perpared to slooowly hike back up..... when i did i strongly wished for a moter bike after a few mins.

Great video. Nice grab of gold. I know the area somewhat. Was that up river from the bridge or down river. I want to hit that area before the rains hit later this year.

i love this part of the river becouse of the veiw , even if i come home with just a tiny bite its all good.

thanks for the comment. mineral bar is running high right now. but if you try hard dig somewhat deep down you should get some color! good luck and my you pan be filed with shinny stuff..lol
