I'm doing this variation too and I really like the tempo the song is at. Does anyone know which album or symphony performed this version of the song? Or should I just find someone to slow down the version I already have? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)

@SABballerinette: this is Maia Makhateli, who is currently a soloist with Het Nationale Ballet. She is the sister of David Makhateli, principal dancer with The Royal Ballet.

she has a beautiful facility, but really needs to watch out for her ankles and feet. She definitely sinks into her shoes and has a habit of sometimes going through on a sickled foot before winging so much that it looks painful. And try to control the legs and their positions a bit more.

Maybe she has naturally high arches and it only looks this way. Plus, she must have really broken her pointe shoes in very well. Besides, she would have fallen over by now from what you said, right?
