the song in the movie is called "Fallin' Angel" and its by two songwriters named Todd Tolls and Jeremy Fisher. I think they are going to be recording a full length version that will be released in the future. Love this song!

@BBirdie You are right, but I don't know if will be released in the future. The song is called "Fallin', Angel" and was performed by Jeremy Fisher who has a band "Mighty Big Word". The song was composed and recorded specifically for the movie and was written by Jeremy Fisher, Todd Tolls, Rob Vaughn and Stacey Hersh. Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to release the song. Where did you hear that actually will release it?

It turns out she isn't an Angel in the strictest sense; she's actually in a coma but her 'Angel' self can interact with people in every corporeal way. She is politely asked by Derek McGrath, her 'Clarence', not to interact with people she knows despite being deployed in the same city she lives in.

She is brought out of the coma by song and proceeds to tell the singer that his father (also Derek McGrath) has a message which is delivered with total sincerity "The secret ingredient is love!"
