great demo!. I wanted to ask you.. how did you do the effect of the flashlight in the kitchen?? 2 lights? I mean the nice circle of light inside of the light...
Thanks. It has been made on a P4 with 1 GB of RAM and Geforce Ti 4200. I really don't remember how long it toke to render each frame because it was rendered to several passes where I usually cant wait more than 2 minutes to see the results.
The best was the 3d teddy bear match-move. very realistic. I take it you used maya for this? I'm going to be looking for a job in cg soon too, best of luck.

Thanks.
It's just a texture map connected to the light color.
You can paint it easily in photoshop or elsewhere.

Very nice work! I have a few questions though. What are the specs of your PC and how long did it take to render this in mental ray?

wow that's really good!
Teddy bear is the best
oh I suggest you put the Teddy bear at the begging of the movie cuz they usually don't watch it to the end.

Amazing - but needs sound - did yo model and animate this yourself ?

Thanks.
It's just meant to use as lighting demo reel for my job hunting. that's why I didnt plan adding sounds.
And yes I modeled/textured and animated almost everything except props mentioned in the breakdown paper.
